Sean O'Brien was smiling through this exchange because this is exactly what he was looking for. This committee hearing, which nobody would even know was happening if it wasn't for this exchange, is now in the news cycle. On top of that, Markwayne Mullin made a whole bunch of comments that can now be fact checked and proven false. He just made himself the poster child of greedy CEO's, where his comment like "I came from less than nothing" will get played on a video and then followed up with the fact that he inherited his father's plumbing business or that he only payed himself a $50,000/year salary when he has reported yearly salaries on his taxes as high as $200,000/year when he was CEO. The Teamsters have a media department bro, you can't get away with stating blatantly false things on camera and not expect to feel the consequences for it.
Seriously, what was Markwayne Mullin thinking? What did he hope to gain from this? O'Brien was just sitting there thinking "THERE is the idiot I was looking for. Maybe I can throw in some verbal jabs and get this moron to spout more garbage for me to use later."

Eventually this leads to less benefits for employees and further weakening of the unions until they dissolve. This is exactly what corporations and billionaires want and Republicans love laws like this. More profits by extracting more wealth from each workers’ labor that the worker doesn’t get to enjoy for themselves. The whole demeanor of this senator was very unprofessional and rude. He welcomes physical conflicts? Is this the US senate or a bar room? He should have been reprimanded.

Ok cowboy (probably with no cowboy hat). The good senator is doing his job and protecting people from these blood thirsty union presidents. Unions where good back in the 20’s. No room for them now.
