Greetings from Ireland 🙂 Many many thanks for uploading all of these classic episodes of Crimewatch. I sometimes have trouble sleeping so this latest batch is a godsend 👍👍 The ones from the late 80s/early 90s especially really take me back to when my love of true crime began. Myself and my Dad used to watch them on tv in Dublin. I was only around 7 when i first watched....which in hindsight was wildly age inappropriate 😂 At the time these crimes in the UK seemed so much serious and violent then anything we were used to. Alas, worse happens every day of the week here now 😢 anyway, thanks a million 😊
David Newton jailed for 12 years after being caught for a violent rape 9 years later. A father of 4 or 5 kids at the time of this one, a year separated from his wife. Sick ####.
Nobody takes that seriously. Bellfield's claim to have done it is just what some serial killers do -try and waste police time and keep themselves in the news. Bellfield's former partner said he was with her all the day it happened - it was her birthday.
@@zeddekaI watched a cold case documentary and they were pretty certain he had done it plus there were loads of attacks on women from behind around when he active and he was suspected of the majority of them
I can't find any information on the case of the elderly man who was stabbed in the launderette in Kilburn, George Dean. Does anyone know what happened with this case?
Unfortunately it remains unsolved to this day. There was an identity parade held a month or so after this appeal but I don't know if it led to anything. Interestingly several months later there was another appeal this time featuring a variety of clothing that was left behind at the launderette at the time of the murder and was never claimed by their owner.
The Primrose Valley rapist was caught in 2006 by DNA, after he raped a 52 year old woman and left her for dead. He was jailed for "life" in December 2008, but the judge ruled he should only serve a minimum of 12 years. So technically, he could now be free.
He would only be freed if he was judged to no longer be a risk, and even then a life sentence means you will be monitored in the community for the rest of your life and be recalled to prison at any time if needs be.
@@eamonnevans8005 so why did you say the judge ruled he should only serve 12 years. No, the judge did not rule that. The judge ruled a MINIMUM of 12 years. What you said is highly misleading.

Looks like you've got a bit of a problem with crime in Ireland right now. Sorry to mention it!
I love watching these classic crimewatch episodes
Innocence lost because of one disgusting creature. Poor little girl & boy. I hope they are doing well today xx
The attacker was called David Newton.
Did they catch him do you know?
@@geecee4746 David Newton caught in 2008 eventually.

The other Crimewatch uploader seems to have had his channel deleted today
Such a shame, but a relief to see them here. Are these on the playlist?
@@user-zr3pj5tk7k yes! I’ve noticed that the videos which were on the deleted channel are being uploaded on this channel 🤨
DNA and forensics must have solved a lot of these crimes in recent years since they were committed?
Solved the first one.
I remember those 1986 River cars x
Strong possibility that Levi Belfield committed the Russell murders not Stone. Bless you and takecare

Nothing on the UK unsolved murders wiki, so i presume they got someone
also on the next Crimewatch , progress update, they said a man was going on a ID parade

12 f..king years our justice system stinks ,he should of got life and done at least 20 years
The pics of the bank robber were two different people one has deep creases by his nose the other one looks younger and has a dimple on his chin
