What you should do is try adding a sample and clicking the little keyboard icon in Samplab which sets it to play that sample in your daw midi. Then add different midi and randomize the velocity. You get crazy sounds because the sample has been chopped into velocity layers. It’s like an automatic multisampled instrument maker.
For some reason the vst version won't download for, the desktop version works fine but it keeps saying failed to download the vst3 version. I need to email them asap!
Hallo habe mir die Premium version gekauft Kann aber die mididatei nicht in meine DAW ziehen.. Ich benutze Cubase 12 Pro An was kann das liegen ????? Danke aus Deutschland
Happened to me because I still had an instance of Samplab 1 still installed. I completely removed everything and reinstalled it and it worked.. if not contact customer support
@@HollywoodFLOSS1 interesting because I never used it before. Will try to contact them. I tought it was difference between free and paid version. Thank you 🍻
nah ableton's ability to convert to midi isnt nearly as advanced, if this does what its supposed to it can break songs into stems, and allows you to change the midi notes inside the audio file itself so instead of just having a midi and putting your own sound on it, you can make the sample play whatever melody/progression you want. I havent tried it but if it works smoothly this could absolutely be a next level thing
I’m not mad at that… it’s 9.99 a month and you can always unsubscribe. The technology just too powerful not to have. You can take a song and have its midi melody and the midi drums. Crazy … I get that people are skeptical of subscriber base Plugins though

I think it is because the DAW was open, just close it and try again.
So its turning the loop into midi And Its sampling the sound turning it into a playable instrument itself?
It turns any loop into midi … and if you change the midi inside the loop, you can export the new midi into audio loop with same sound
@@HollywoodFLOSS1 Bruh, that's insane!
I N S A N E !!!
Ableton been doing this.
