Yeah that makes sense i guess that also explains why cutie marks weren't mentioned until a later episode

Even MLP: Make Your Mark's theme song didn't play in the Chapter 1 special until the first episode of Chapter 2.

@@LaurenSherwood-n8i In the theme song Twilight talks about how she used to not know what friendship was until she met the main six but they play the theme song in the first episode where Twilight hasn't even met the main six yet
