I've (briefly) driven a 720S and it left a lasting impression for sure. I imagine the 750 feels like an "improved" version of it. While changes outside are fairly minimal, my personal take is that the 720 looked a bit better, especially from the back (pig snout is a bit weird, no?)...
Great review, spot on! Have the same issues with the volume and temperature controls 🤣😜Sold my 600 LT spider for this and absolutely love it! Test drove the 723 years ago and fell in love with McLaren, but it was a little too refined so I was holding out for the 765 LT. the 750 S is best of both worlds and more similar to 765 LT but with newer tech, which is precisely the Bullseye for me!!
I got to drive Tye 750s Spider at COTA. It’s a phenomenal car and bites really well into the corner. I oddly prefer my 720s over it. I got to like the open rear diff and the flip screen. Both are a lot of car. Picked up mine in Palm Springs and did the test drive up 74 towards idle wild. Fun roads.
@@TheHooniverse I "NEED" to drive a 750 now, simply to figure out if my preference for the 720 is purely visual, based on that CarWow test or something else entirely! Things must do...
@@dl5270 You should check other sources instead of relying on Carwow. In Edmunds' drag race video, the 750S manages the quarter mile in 9.9 seconds, which is faster than the 765LT that they also raced
I have a papaya spark 720s performance coupe. I honestly think the 720s is better looking but I also know the 750s is a better car. It's amazing. I just think as a 720s owner I can't get close to paying about double for a new one. The 720s is criminally undervalued which is both good and bad.
Strangely, the 750S is actually slower than the 720S. The older car had close to 700whp in reality, I suspect this new car makes the quoted HP, no more.
@@TheHooniverse I think he may be referring to a carwow head-to-head test of a 720 vs 750. There, the 720 proved to be a tiiiiny bit quicker (more insane?).
I am definitely referring to the carwow video in which the the 720S was demonstrably quicker than the 750S… McLaren has a habit of understating the power figure of certain cars. The 720s, Senna and 765LT are three examples. The 600LT makes its quoted figure. The 750S may be making closer to its quote figure than the 720S, which means the older may actually be more powerful in the real world.
"sticker to the ground"-- good to hear.. In that it doesn't feel like a Ferrari... Like it's sliding over the road. How were the brakes? Were they sensitive repairing not much pressure?? A car in this office transfer me range m range shouldn't have any works... Toyota's are problem free 99 percent of UHT 6 time.. . At ¹ sixth three cost
While I know the modern car is technically amazing, and the racing this season is more interesting, it doesn't do much for me. I'd rather watch Aussie V8 Supercars or GT3-level endurance racing.

oh, and thank you for the video - class as always!

I have no idea why but this is the first time you've appeared on my feed in a long time, happy to see you back!
I watch ‘em Jeff. 😊
I wish I could ❤ this, my 👍🏻 will have to suffice. Excited for the Spider. The 765LT Spider is cool too.

Great road for it! And not odd to prefer your own machine, congrats on owning one 🍺

No, it’s not. Its acceleration is slower. Proven in repeated races by Carwow. The 720S wins both drag and roll races. Is what it is. 🤷
