It's funny. You can kind of say the graphics have improved but also that they haven't. I guess technically they're better, but I don't think the game is any easier on the eyes than it used to be
Great video, awesome editing, love the concise, and to the point voiceover. Really interesting to see how this game has changed over the years. I first started playing it towards the end of alpha 16 I think because I remember the excitement when the 4 x 4 and gyrocopter and motorcycle were added to the game. I didn’t remember the bicycle being in the game in 16, was it taken out for a while? Or was I just dumb and didn’t see it? That’s also very possible. 😂 The only vehicle I remember before the big vehicle update was the minibike. It is amazing how far the game has come though. I’m really enjoying the full release 1.0, and figuring out the building system.
I first bought the game on Steam in November of 2020, so I would've started out playing Alpha 19.2. In November of this year, I'll have officially been playing this game for 4 years. I currently have a little over 1300 hours. I gotta say, though, although there have been plenty of changes since Alpha 19.2 to now, I'm glad I played it at a time when it was still recognizable as largely the same game today. That early stuff looks awful, no offense to anyone who enjoyed it.
thats odd, i just looked i bought 7d in 2018 i swore i played a16 maybe it was 17 i can't remember, all i know is it was awesome back then cause we were able to run underground bases and chill and have a good time before zombies could dig.
also this guy kinda sucks cause why would you go through all that trouble. just to stop at a17. my mian reason for watching was to see what stuff had actually changed from 17-now. "being that i didn't have a pc for a few yrs i could play on"
I still play PS4 version somewhat regularly when I just want to lay on the couch and do simple zombie slaying instead of hunching in a computer chair. It's still fun. 😊
@@NarwahlGaming - Well, I still have my old Xbox 1 version of the game and tried to play it a few weeks back. I can honestly say I did NOT enjoy it, I hated the way you have to look around with the joystick, it just irked me.🤔😖 I was trying to shoot at a Zed and I had a hard time aiming with the joystick, I kept aiming up in the air, then down at the ground until I finally got focused on the Zed, it almost got me killed when I got surrounded. That's when I decided to go back to PC to play it.😩😞😮💨😉
Great video. I bought the game for console in 2016. I loved it so much. Just rebought it for the PS5 after years and years of waiting and I would buy it again another 3 times. It's such a fun playable game, especially when played with others!
There are 2 games when this was released, Rust and 7D2D, both has the same gameplay mechanics but different in terms of enemy fighting since 7D2D is a mainly PVE with an option of PVP. Rust is a PVP only server with zombies.
I remember when the only way I could prepare for horde night was by chopping trees for about two days straight and putting fields of spikes around my house… then spending like 2 days after horde night chopping more trees and repairing everything… I don’t actually miss those days. I like the challenge of trying to outsmart the zombies’ AI. And the fact that I can build a functional horde base and then go out and explore and do missions and check out POI‘s and loot, and have fun.

I feel they removed so much stuff from the game, like I love the current 7dtd but I felt like it used to be more of a challenge and that zombies destroyed far more stuff .
think it will ever get out of alpha before those old fart FP's kick the bucket? I just hope they'll pass the game on if not, so at least our children (prob grandchildren) will see the full release 🥲
If you enjoyed the video please leave a like! :) thank you!
they should allow some zombies to not be able to do the "pathing" and just destroy everything around them, i miss those days :c
Sometimes I am like "Oh what was that cool little voxel zombie game I played back in the day" Oh... it was 7 Days To Die, it was so different.
It has gone through a lot of changes. Sometimes I miss the old alphas ‘feel’.
@@ExotiKGaming You can still play Alpha 5 and Alpha 7, just have the steam console turned on
whats wild is that the graphics still look rough as shit

Miss looting the zombies really don't care for bags
You actually were incorrect alpha 15 was the last version on console before they went back to pc
Roughly 15.5 they cherry picked some features from a16 but we never got the full update
Crazy how console is still so far worse than
Console has had it rough for awhile.

@conniee. Xbox controllers are weird to begin with, so I can see that. 😆
@@NarwahlGaming 😆👍🏼
you did not go over the remaining 5 alphas...why?
a17 was also when when people started to exploit the pathing, it was when "ramp-bases" became a thing
The AI pathing exploiting has become a huge trend now. Dont remember it being so big back in the old days

The evolution - till A17 because apparently there where haven't been any mentionworthy changes since then...
Oooh another treat...😊
i have a place in my heart for both of these games
Brings back memories.😄 I started playing this game in A10 and still playing it.🙋🏼♀☺👍🏼
