Normally a huge fan of his singing and his growls. Usually in videos when you watch him growl his throat actually relaxes and he has more tension when singing "normally". Could be sick in this performance or had an off day. Is this consistent with recent shows?
Ryan Quinn it’s been pretty consistent for a year now unfortunately :( summer of 2019 he sounded like this but after a break from tour i saw them in november and he sounded better but then sounded like this if not worse in december
Beau Otto I saw them last March a month before this video and he sounded amazing, hope it was just an off day

Whats happening with his voice ? im getting depressed about it :(
The rasp/grit/growl technique he does can take a toll on his voice and strain it. Even though, it gives him power behind his voice. He probably had an off day because this tour was long. Singers are just like athlete's, just need time and rest.
