$10 not bad 😎. Super 7 is crazy for that price. Please make wolverine with black claws (secret wars) Great video toyshiz well made, awesome comparisons!
I preordered the whole set. I don't normally collect 3.75 inch, but I think these will look good in-box. I feel like for wave 2, we have to get Hulk and a '80s brown suit Wolverine. Though I wonder if they'll adjust the height for those two.
I do wish that they would've been articulated like the DC Spin Master line. BUT, for 5POA figures, I love the way they are sculpted & the colorful paint detail. I also like that they started with the retro look. Now that they've started this line( and my hopes are up), it would be a real shame if they did'nt continue the roster with a full line of XMen, Spider Man, Fantastic 4, Hulk & , well you get the point. BTW, if they do the Hulk, I hope the Hulk will have the body just like that McDonald's Hulk figure, just with the 5POA.
Yes, I agree with you that I wished they would have been articulated like the DC Spin Master line... They should really offer us a line of Marvel characters ... that are compatible...!! Especially with the articulation.... Posing isn't much fun with 7 points of articulation.
Oh boy I got sold on these by now, I was not sure about this new line, but if these came out when I was 6 ~ 12 years old, I would want to collect all of them. Thanks for the video!
Very nice figures and artwork on the cards. These are like a continuation of Kenners Super Powers figures made in the 1980's which were the DC characters.
Fun X-Fact: That costume of Cyclops actually didn't require Scott to touch the visor to fire his optic blast. This costume introduced a button on his glove to open his visor.
Mine arrived this morning but I still haven't opened the box. Some of the character choices were weird; Spider-Man should have been packed with Green Goblin and Wolverine would have been a better pairing for Cyclops. Still glad to have this line, though. J$H Saturday 12.19.2020 6:57 PM
Good for you, I see the Marvel Universe stuff here and there at Vintage Stocks and I regret not buying that whole line from a few years back. So much articulation/look similar to the Legends....mainly want bc there are so many vehicles/dio possibilities at that scale for a lot cheaper than the dios/vehicles at 1/12 scale.
Man thanks for posting this video! I like 6 inch figures and all but I own alot of 3.75 figures for nostalgia alone. Hope to see preset poses, vehicles, and playsets as well. These can really give the DC Spin Masters figures a run for their money and I'm ready!
@@ToyShiz yeah, I feel like these are a nice niche thing. They're very much what you see is what you get. I think they're fun enough but im not gonna get the whole wave.
I'm confused... started getting these but confused I see cyclops as wave 1 and wave 3 figure? I thought I got the first two waves but now think I miss one ? Cyclops... But I see him in wave 3?
I guess Super 7 has been really successful with their retro line because now you've got Hasbro and Mezco getting in on this. I'm really curious to see how this line does given the sheer volume of product ML has already been putting out. I mean clearly this is meant to appeal to a different piece of the collector market. But I just wonder if that niche market is big enough to sustain it. Take it away 2021.
Got Iron Man and Black Panther 2 pack and Captain America and Black Panther 2 pack at walmart. These Figures are so Secret wars Reborn. These are not VS Boxes there Team up Boxes the only VS Box there is Spiderman VS Electro
This Retro line would be GREAT.... if only there were more points of Articulation.!! Then the figures could sit down .... in that X-Men jet... or at tables... or anywhere.!! If only.... more points of articulation.!! If not this line... then give us a line ... A Collector's Line... with more articulation ... and let us build an entire Marvel Universe...!!
These are cool, but really not for posing, I think more just for putting on your shelf because the pose ability is limited. I like the way they look though.
Only if these could be just a little bigger... Perhaps 4.5 or 5 inch wouldn't be bad. At a 3.75 inch scale, I don't think I will be investing in these.
I love retro style figures but these feel sort of like Hasbro is cutting corners everywhere. Why do Cyclops and Black Panther each have a set of gripping hands but nothing to hold? If you're going to reuse the same hands already, at least give them some sort of goofy accessory or something. And why does Spider-Man have two identical web shooting hands? At least make one a wall crawling or bad dude punching hand. These are toys built for play but Hasbro is over looking the basic fundamentals of fun toys. I also get that these are minimal articulation and I love that but with the way the boots attach it looks like there's really no reason they couldn't have done a swivel rotation point there that would have maintained the same retro aesthetic but added a touch of play value. They just look like they're designed to swap out the minimum amount of parts and add the minimum amount of paint to make new figures. Maybe I'm being too cynical. I understand Reaction figures are now $18 and these are $10 and yeah, I wish Reaction figures were cheaper but the paint qualify and attention to detail on the figures they're doing now is stunning. I want these Marvel figures to exist but I just also want them to be better than they look.
$10 isn't bad. Better than Super7 charging $18 for their reaction figures

Ikr, the ReAction figures have legit no detail 💀 I mean they look cool and FOR SURE HAVE DETAIL but the price is ridiculous
$10 is still too much. Compare them to spin masters dc figures and they're $2 less
Fr. Way to much for a 5 poa figure. Nowadays I think $10 is a perfect price
@@BonesYourDaddy or compare to Final Faction ;)
Love it for some reason takes me back to the secret wars line miss playing with them

I think kids will enjoy these toys

I love the Captain America toy. Love it.
Love the 3.75 figure,do or did you collect the marvel universe wave, I did.
I have a few here and there but never collected them.

I got a lot of these but they don’t stand on the shelf real sturdy I might have to build some custom stands.
Really cool! I’m always a fan of “basic-style” figures. What I would really like is to see bunch of these single carded for $10 a piece.
they will be next year at retail. these pulse exclusive 1st prints are "special"
Metallic Iron Man and Black Panther are only on Hasbro pulse. Walmart: he he no
I wish they hadn't given up on the other 3.75 line. There were a lot of characters that never got made.
I loved that McDonald's spidey growing up

We used to have marvel universe figures remember those? And better articulation
Yes, but these are meant to be 5poa retro style. Not overly articulated
Super excited for these! Pre-ordered a couple of sets.
13:47 Spider-schlong! Spidey’s packin’!
Just wished that they had more articulation...
that's the let~down....
I love the Retro-look... Great to have them...!!
I mix these with my Marvel Universe 3.75 collection.
I've been waiting for this review. I have the spiderman set preordered
What do you think? Still into them?
@@ToyShiz yeah, I feel like these are a nice niche thing. They're very much what you see is what you get. I think they're fun enough but im not gonna get the whole wave.
@@lazyrobotz2246 I think that’s a good policy. Grab the characters that work the best or meet your specific tastes.

they rereleased all of wave 0 later on
I want them to make vehicles for this line so badly
As neat as they are it's not the same
Awesome
Wow!! 😸🤖

Electro may not have the best paint job, but at least he can do a front-back split.
Big no to pre-posing figures. Lol. These are excellent!
No offense but these figures look cool

All of them look good except for irony man😐

One of the main reasons why they are so cool is because they are 3.75 inch scale!
No shitty gimmicks
