A simpler game is a better game. Apex is so convoluted now. too many legends, too many abilities and, while cool on paper, the in game upgrade system only exacerbated that problem. Now you can't even be sure what plays your opponent is capable of. Timings and interactions are no longer a known constant based on the legend being played. Limiting creative outplays and often times core gameplay like positioning.
