I've heard people say that he's not particularly good at headers in the goal area, but in recent seasons he seems to be one taking corner kicks/free kicks that set up the set pieces. So maybe he just doesn't get much practice at it?
off the ball movement: he is taking an counter attacking position, instead of possession based. Often run away from teammates, makes him less of an option to pass. A perfect example of Harry kane 1st goal vs Ranger. Instead of running straight in open space, he runs the opposite way.
@@derry667dingo I think he does a fairly decent job based on the amount of chances he normally gets and to agree with you he spends way less time in the box these days.
@@jantran5349 This video 📹 has so many examples of how good he is off the ball so it's more like you would say is link up play isn't what you expect, but as you mentioned, he's always running in behind and that's based on the team's playing style
@@M-10Football just putting out one of his weakness, he doesnt seem to like to touch the ball, or force the issues when he has all the talent to dribble from the back or penetrate dribble
This is most excellent! My favourite player is Sonny, but I was very struck by a comment Harry Kane made during the recent Korean tour where he said that since he and Sonny are different types of players, they are improving their partnership by learning more about how to facilitate each other's style rather than picking up each other's techniques. Have you done one of these tactical analysis pieces on Kane before? (I had a quick look and didn't find one yet). And as a record-breaking partnership with almost equal goals to assists ratio within that partnership, I think it would be fascinating to examine how they play to each other's strengths.
I had started 2 videos from their record breaking but really didn't complete them...I just will. The non-verbal communication between them is exceptional and definitely they compliment each other.
Regardless of all good things about Sonny, why is he not being used effectively? I guess it is about time to move on to different team, a team that respect players like him.
There is a player named Dwight McNeil that plays for Burnley FC he is a Jamaican from his Father's side and is therefore eligible to represent us, you should do one for him
These days, Son haters insist to drop him since he's goalless for 8 games, despite official statistics says his stat is as fine as last season in making chances for the team. Anyway it's sure that Son is struggling in getting a goal. There are less passes from his mates under new Conte's tactics. Overlap with Perisig is another problem. Perisig tend to dribble himself along the sideline and (even in the case that Perisig get a ball passed from Son in the final third) he crosses the ball to the center for Kane and Richarlson. We know Son is not good at using his head. Now should Son leave Tottenham? There seems to be no solution under Conte's current tactics (or Perisig overlap). How do you think?
Is there any visible weakness in Son's attacking play?

Scored a brace today in his Everton debut, he's class. Would love to see him put on that black green and gold in the future. ..

Great analysis. Now Conte has come to his senses and use Son properly, as in the games against Lester and Frunkfurt. Results - 5 goals!

Kane, he is being too greedy this season.
Free kick zero ㅜㅜ
Is this a propaganda? Shut up, use him effectively, or he will move on to opposite team.
