What the Father Gods did for centuries they did it in the name light, order and justice etc. because they belong to the sky and sun where the light comes from, almost all the sky deities are males, give it Zeus, Uranus, Apollon... and they use these terms to covert their misactions as for so called 'justice' and 'logic'. If you see a goddess who represents light, be know that she is subjugated by patriarchy and assigned a role from male perspective such as Athena whom directly born from Zeus' head and Selene the daughter of the Sun. I can say one of the best representation of matriarchal goddesses are Nyx and Chaos, both of them are mentioned in the creation myths and each represended with a form of darkness 😊
