Your vids really opened my eyes to the usefulness of QS for the nades and using the Glaives for the survivability. I never see them used and keep hearing they’re trash but it looks hella useful to me 😂.
Glaives are literally some of the best weapons in the game, especially when they have a champion mod. When you block with a glaive, you get a 97.5 % damage reduction to the front side of your character that stacks on top of your resil and other sources of damage resistance. Since the game does round when calculating damage values, this ends up meaning that sometimes, you will literally take no damage at all while blocking, and can actually start health regeneration. Note that some enemies do so much damage though, that you will still take some damage while glaive blocking (though still not much). Notable enemies that do this are ogres and machine gun cabal barrier champions.

I had a little bit of time to crank out a solo GM before going into college crunch. This video was originally going to showcase a somewhat off-meta build for voidlock, Stag + Collective Obligation and spreading all 3 void debuffs for maximum LEAN overload (dim.gg/ce3gzja/I-LOVE-LEANNNNNN!!!!). Unfortunately I suck at using the build ig bc I spent 2-3 hours and kept making stupid mistakes, never completing the run. Guess I crutch on glaives too much lol. Bungo when stasis/strand glaive in the kinetic slot??? Goofy ah vortex nades go brrr. Quicksilver Storm OP (moreso with goofy ah ornament :)))) ). Tbh tho, Contraverse Hold Vortex Nades are super strong. I feel the Contra Vortex Nades compared to LEAN OVERLOAD build is just soooo much more versatile. LEAN OVERLOAD has amazing crowd control bc of suppression spam with Collective Obligation which messes with non-boss/non-champ enemies like BASED Tormentors (orange bars good, yellow bars why bungo ;-; HyperNet Current Tormentor is cringeeee) but not having a glaive for aggressive pushes sucks. Because of that, I had to be more conserved and patient which I hate. I love aggressive playstyles (like in @Arman_GT's Conditional Finality vid: ruclips.net/video/3HroQQSx0yg/видео.html) but the lean build felt super slow. Might give the lean build another go if the Glassway GM this season gets void surge which I doubt.
yea it unfortunately will not be a void surge. Glassway is next week, and it is a solar surge since this week was void. :(. You could still try it though. Who needs matching elements am I right!
Man, I need that machine gun. Also your gear getting 100 in both resilience and discipline, how did you manage that??whenever I go for discipline I never get spikes in resilience.
RNG is a fickle being... I farmed a bunch of Artifice Armor last season which can help achieve godly stats but not necessary. It sounds like you use the discipline armorer ghost mod like me. Sometimes the spiky drops just don't happen, there's always a grind 😭. I had to farm a LOT to even get decent armor so don't feel bad man
With the help of armor focusing in season 20 I got a triple 100 with Controverse with no artifice armor (Res Recov Disc). Wait until something like that happens again and you'll be swimming in high stat armor. Gl
Sometimes Vol Rounds bugs out and doesn't pierce barriers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. That's why I'd prefer to use the suspending blast from the tangles created from quicksilver and melt them asap
