- Nearly 30 years after the events of Ghostbusters 2, Oscar Barrett is at the center of another paranormal maelstrom but this time he has a proton pack.
This fan-made Ghostbusters series will follow Oscar Barrett as he lives his life as a Ghostbuster in Southern California's beautiful Station 6 Franchise.
Officially a part of the Ghostbusters Fan Film Cinematic Universe.

I love this, Oscar is immediately my favorite Character because he clearly got his sense of humor from Peter.
I Know right? They got the right guy to play him. I feel like he's a natural. Also, yes he got his sense of Humor from Peter because things like that aren't hereditary. You pick up on those things foster child or not.

This should have way more like than it does right now.
Now THIS is more of what I was expecting of GB3, instead of that hokey "GB 2016" POS. (Great to see the idea of Oscar Barrett, the kid from GB2, grown up and joining a California branch of the company. But...Venkman as step-dad? If that's the case...who's the REAL dad? Personally, my money's on Lewis Tully. Peter & Dana never got it on in GB1, but...Keymaster & Zuul, while possessing Lewis & Dana's bodies? Yeah, THAT I can see.)Will keep on following this story arc.
Venkman is Oscar's step-dad as in Venkman married Dana later on. The person Oscar speaks to on the phone is his biological dad Andre Wallance (the violin player "stiff" from Ghostbusters 1). We're going with that name because in the novelization of the original movie that was his given name.
I'm in a Ghostbuster group and we're talking about making something like this and just seeing this makes me excited on the possibilities
This is probably the best outcome for the franchise. A show instead of movies because you can take as many steps you want to build new foundations and actual suspense.
Had Ghostbusters 2 on my tv while watching this. When I started playing this at the beginning. The movie was at the scene at Rays Bookstore. And the guy at the beginning was at Rays Bookstore!

So good that the group No Small Children got at least some small association with a decent ghostbusters project

All the call backs to previous films are great, and it's nice to have a story that goes out of its ways to be interesting... and I also thought the customer at Ray's Occult was suspicious! Ever since I first saw him in 1989, he seemed shady. Thanks for answering that question :D And compliment the cast, they've done a great job and left me entertained, hoping for more ^_^

Needs some suspension work, and shocks, and breaks, break pads, lining, steering box, transition, rear end, maybe new rings, also mufflers, a little wiring..

While I do have some issues with this (the sound mixing, some of the effects, etc.), I do really like what was done here!
The story is unique and interesting, the way the Ghostbusting is handled more like a legitimate business with offices and everything is cool, and I cannot express my gratitude towards the use of the sound effects and lore from the Ghostbusters 2009 video game! It's such an under appreciated piece of art, and it's always fun to see people refer to it in their fan projects.

As a Ghostbusters fan, I really enjoyed this, very good extension of the original films. However, as a film fan, I was a little disappointed. First of all, let me start off by saying most of the acting in this is great. I would compare the acting level in this on par with fan films like Star Trek Continues or something from Bat in the Sun. However, the lead actor is your weakest actor and it's contrasted by just how great some of the supporting actors are with their performances. Kelly Perine steals the spotlight in every scene that he's in and Joey Sinko is underused during the first half of the episode has he also gives one of the best performances. The rest of the supporting cast is very good as well, but Chris Kato gives a dull and lethargic perfomance that finds me way more drawn to the supporting characters. If you continue the series I would think about recasting the lead role to stronger actor. Or as this may be a labor of love among friends and since I see Chris shares a writing credit (to which I must say the writing was very good, good dialogue, good pacing), perhaps take some time between episode to take some acting workshops or programs or learn and spend more time with your supporting cast because they seem like they could have some good pointers. Overall, well done, but a weak lead just keeps it just shy of being fantastic.

The first episode was filmed entirely in Orange County in about a 5 block radius, but we're hoping to expand locations to Los Angeles and Riverside with the Indiegogo campaign for Episode 2 going on right now!
