How do you do the slow jump thingy where you slow down time and then do the thing where you *brake all the bones in your body* and then it makes you jump super high?
The rules of this category were agreed upon by the majority of the Boneworks speedrunners. I disagree with the current implementation of the ruleset, but it's drastically more restricted than Any% which is what most people want out of a Glitchless category. The rules for this game were made in the early days of speedrunning when people, who weren't even running the game, made decisions. It's too late to make any large changes to the rules without removing 100 runs from the leaderboard or making a bunch of categories no one will run. Either way, you'd be hard-pressed to find a game with a Glitchless category that doesn't include at least some form of arguable glitch or skip.
@@q2xy332 I've tried, for some reason it's so laggy it's unplayable. I e checked with multiple sources, my link cable is fine, my PC is more than capable of running it. I just can't figure out what's wrong.
Not really. The AI is really dumb and predictable, the levels are easy to learn, and as you can see by his jumps, physics don't really work. As long as you're very much used to VR, or take anti-motion sickness pills, you should have no problem speedrunning this. Ofcourse, there is the sewers level, but a set of nightvision goggles make that level easy to complete too. All you gotta do to speedrun this is copy what Sychke does, and with practice you'll be able to speedrun this like other people. Plus Speedrunning community is quite friendly, so you can ask to help with strategies or planning the speedrun out. It's quite easy, i'm telling you. Practice makes perfect
@@bloodyidit4506 My VR legs are pretty good, I guess my gripe is how random some strats can be. Like the wall boost across runoff, which can destroy an entire run if it decides it doesn't want to work right.
@@Robin-en4xs Well it's less precise, but i've done jump skips in Espire 1 (you can jump by grabbing and pulling a metal piece of the environment) and figured out that you just need to refine your hand movements and practice. Unlike in regular speedrunning where the glitches are found in the level, in VR the glitches are always next to you based on how your physics work, so technically it's easier because it's a skill you can build, the physics are based on your moves instead of level placement. It's more of a physical thing though.
Seeing you super jump up to places and do literal VR parkour makes me so excited for the future of VR. Full dive will really bring out the best in us, I can’t wait to parkour and jump across rooftops!
11:43 i think that using the slowmo could be better than to miss there no ? 4:36 i will kicly check something about that exact second will be back need to check that before saying anything
Wouldn't it be a lot faster in the arena if you just set an object in front of the blue force field and jumped over it to get out when a zombie spawned through that gate

Its abusing the physics of the game. He isn't doing anything that he isn't intended to. You can jump higher by jumping in real life and in the game at the same time. The games physics is really wacky, and it leads to people being able to oullvoff those jumps or things without having to do any glitches

This guy makes Boneworks look like Mirror's Edge lol
Is that snake mgs3 in ur profile pic?
This is how I imagine the actual ford is going through this
This is how it feels to run in a dream...
But seriously, this is so fun to watch. Im glad that there are people like you who keep great games alive.
Judging by the way he was jumping, Sychke is probably the human reincarnation of a slaughtered crablet.
watching boneworks speedruns is like watching a matrix movie. nice run!
11:48 might be the most aggressive reload i've ever seen
It’s hilarious how many things you can just even without glitches like when you see ford close the gate but if you fast you can go through anyways 😭
I thought I was going to be able to put a decent speed time for boneworks but damm you must’ve practiced those strategies countless times
Getting over it be like 1:54
Could you do a video on how you "bunny hop" and jump really high like you do? Can't seem to do it consistently
That was dope af
Your literally a god
RETURN OF THE KING!!!!
Do you ever just hang out in sandbox?
Do you have to do arena normally?
It should have been called like "no out of bounds" beacause he uses a lot of glitches

I give this a banana out of 10
I give this 2 bananas out of 10 coconuts
So is the tower skip a glitch? I thought super jumping was used to get up the staircase to grab the bars
which record you gonna curb-stomp next?
Это всё что угодно, но это glitchless спидран

If you do VR for a little while you stop getting motion sickness. It's all about getting your brain used to it. Take a week though lol.

i love how most of the tricks look like glitches but there using the physics in the game
