I’ll always support Huke. Man is a beast and overall solid teammate. His adaptability shows with him winning in 2 different FPS titles. I look forward to what he does these next few years.
Is he a solid teammate though? It gives me Lebron vibes, like dude is insane at his craft and damn near unbeatable but that coupled with his desire to put up stats, causes his team to lose time and time again.

I remember Huke in the AW days, such an unknown variable back then watching him compete in bracket play and then the multiple matches against OG it was stunning (no pun intended). To then watch Huke make the switch to Halo then transition back into CoD shortly afterwards and deal with what he had to, was a revelation for competitors back then! Hope the best for him, he’ll be alright but it’d be great to see him have consistent success in the CDL!

Cuyler has always been one of my favorite players to watch ever since AW. Aggressive in your face playstyle, doesn’t talk trash (although I’m all for it), and let’s his game do the talking. Dude is the ultimate underdog story and I hope he has a successful career after he hangs up the sticks

A soloist mentality will never work with a team long term. Needing to adjust around that type of play style is super difficult is comms are bad. Best of luck to Huke.

Nah you're insane for even suggesting that, #2 & #3 were supposed to watch back in case of swimmers and people going far south, they had no idea anyone was coming because Huke was supposed to watch that whereas Kizmet knew 1-2 players were on point because they were scoring, it's like having and advanced uav on them and they were both lined up next to each other, bad luck, Kizmet singlehandedly had a massive advantage on them. Even if Huke had gotten no damage off it would have been fine because they would have known and slayed Kizmet, that was all on Huke, he not only let Kiz go completely uncontested but also in secret and that's literally the only reason they lost, they were trusting Huke to call out anyone going to them and he absolutely failed them, that loss was all on him.

i remember playing w huke before he was on stunner, he was this local kid who played w another local named Mute, at our AZHP gaming events, i still got vods of our old matches and i actually went to UMG dallas with him and his brother, god ill never forget kanye west after that 22 hour drive, (on REPEAT) got some funny pics of us all lmao, overall he was a really quiet kid who shit on every living thing he went against, homie is a true gaming god.

Huke is 100% of the reason that I watch the CDL. He won 3 tournaments in Halo 5 against the CLG/OpTic/Tox dynasty team and was such an impactful player that when he returned to CoD his former Halo team disbanded because they knew that they couldn't beat the top teams without him. In my eyes he's basically the ideal competitor and teammate.

He is a super talent to this day; he's just not consistent. I don't know what environment will get that out of him. His form on Optic is proof of this; when he's on, he's one of the best (he looked like the best in the game in certain stretches), but at his worst, he was the worst on that roster. To give him a bit of a break, the looming threat of having to be amazing or we're replacing you with Pred probably did not help down the stretch of last season.

Huke is probably the first example of an Esports player that peaked way too early. Beastly prime but quickly fizzled out into an inconsistent and sometimes bafflingly low IQ player. Always showed glimpses of his talent but his game IQ would always be his downfall and honestly you could make an argument at times that he had one of the worst game IQs in COD Esports.

Imagine you show up to a tournament and every player in every scrim is using the same 2 guns and now your playing for your tournament life against a new guy with a new gun. Not only is it a in game advantage but it can be enough to make certain players tilt and headcase.
@@AMPStorm The only advantage was that Spart was the only person that used the Volk before major 2 when he brought it out and the Volk is the only reason LAG won that tournament IDC if he didn't use the Volk for every map and mode because it's clear as day that without the Volk LAG were never going to win anything. LAG were winless after major 2 until they brought back Gunless. Spart was nothing without the Volk in his hands after major 2. A psychological advantage would be like OpTic choke slamming FaZe every series and so FaZe is already in their heads before every series vs OpTic thinking they can't beat OpTic.
