Hey y'all! Very powerful stuff and that's 6:46 of material nonstop. Well you got it right: the man is mad and letting the steam out of his chest and everyone in Algeria (and probably in neighboring countries like Tunisia and Morocco) feels and understands the message. I'm 48 yo and I'm not into music and stuff but this shit moved me. It's not about a particular riot, it's about the junta that hijacked people suffering during the was in Algeria in the 50's and then governed the country since 1962 with a lot of corruption, unfair authorities and government towards the people (that's the song's title). Lotfi repeats "Gool lerra'ees...." meaning tell the president of Algeria (that's the old man that you keep seeing over and over). So, basically this is it: people living in misery and the junta living the big life, messing the economy and stampeding democracy. I'm not sure you wanted the lyrics (translated). Let me know.
