As that’s great that you started penpaling! The most important tip I have is that you don’t need much to make your letter “cute” or “aesthetic”. As long as you fill it with love, everyone is happy to receive your letter. Because penpaling should be about the written letter and the conversation. Everything else is just an add-on! I have a video on my channel where I use a Magazine to decorate my letter. It is super inexpensive :) I get most of my penpaling things from the dollar store btw 😇 and all I use for pens is a black fine liner :) Hope that helps🥰
You can send pressed wildflowers, teabags in a handmade little bag made out of parchment paper, additional unused stamps, a coin from your country, a handmade bookmark, a postcard, a drawing or painting you made, flat candies etc. I've sent all these to different pen pals and it's super affordable.
