BREAKING: 2 Nerds Find Out They're Loved And Freak Out
They should change the title rn 👏👏
The sign language message was incredible, just shows how music unites us all
That part gave me goosebumps!!!!
@Primo Antonius I imagine she was mute, not deaf. although depending on the type of deafness i'm pretty sure there are implants can help hearing.
Primo Antonius folks that are hard of hearing (HoH) and not just deaf still listen to music as well as those that are mute. 🙂 As someone that cannot always speak (nonverbal), music is also a great way to communicate with others.
She might be a hearing member of a family with deafness?...
They're also people who speak a sign language even if they can hear. Many people learn it to be able to communicate with members of their family, friends or colleagues who are deaf. (My parents and I learned it despite not having any hearing problems...)
That may be her case, and maybe she decided to use sign language for her part in the video to add more diversity. I say that because it seemed to me, looking at her gestures, that ASL isn't her first language (I may be wrong, though).
Fans: show their appreciation
Brett, too overwhelmed by emotion: aight imma head out
I legit cried when the sign language came up. TwoSet transcends all languages!
Plz could I get a time stamp?

Hello,😊🇬🇧.
I am 72, I have always loved classical music, and really like to watch 2 Set 🎻 Violin videos :
Brett and Eddy : you are SO accomplished,
and share such interesting details and knowledge, which must be very helpful to young musicians..
It is wonderful to be aware of the many young people who appreciate what you do.
And what a sweet gesture to make a video for you.😊.
I found your early videos by chance , and I just loved your expressions !
Brett's 'blank' look of astonishment was so amusing.😊.
Many thanks, keep going ! So entertaining and informative.
Best Wishes from England.

How we kept it a secret:
The idea for this project was birthed in a chatgroup and mostly stayed there throughout the whole creation process. The organizers had to block Twoset on every platform while we put up application forms for interested participants-they didn't stay up for too long either. We also asked the community who saw the project announcements to keep it a secret. 👀 After that, it was just a matter of lying low while we finished the video. 😂
Congratulations, you did an awesome job. It's so hard to keep something secret when social media is involved, it's almost a miracle there wasn't any leak !
Great job to you and the team and everyone involved! It’s a very sweet and well put-together video. Amazing how you managed to pull it off and keep it a secret!
Thank you! It was all thanks to the awesome community, really! We never could have made this without their participation and support 💖
Definitely would do it again,, honoured to be part of the team uwu
That's awesome. Really really cool you did that.
She was signing the letter "L" while spelling "Classical" in "Classical Music" in American Sign Language. ASL communities often make up signing slang, so your sign for Ling Ling (both hands in L shapes) might be the semi-official sign for Ling Ling in ASL.
I was looking for that comment. I learned French sign language, and even if it's different from ASL, I understood that she was spelling "classical".
It's still cute, though, that they were trying to understand the signs... 😄
How did this wind up with 2k likes and 1 reply?
Well now 3
Also I was looking for a comment on the sign language thx!
I randomly watched a recommended video of Twoset one day about 3-4 months ago, and I watched it and thought it was hilarious, so I watched another, and another... I watched every single video of yours, and I love every single one of them.
Because of Twoset I:
-Started listening to classical music and started to appreciate it so much more
-Was introduced to Hilary Hahn, Ray Chen and other incredible people
-Get excited when I can identify a piece that is being played in a movie or commercial etc.
-At 29 years old, with absolutely 0 musical experience, have decided to pursue learning to play the violin this month
This could (almost) literally be my post. I'm so glad I found them!
This comment really represents me right now and im really glad i found their channel as well and introduce classical music to us 💗
@@andreaantonia8366 This comment represents me as well, just except the age.
I'm 28 too! I have always liked classical but never really got into it like this. Because as always it is mostly depicted as boring or slow. There aren't many "personalities" that attract people like these two to the genre. I won't ever pick up a instrument but I could definitely listen whilst I practise golf 40hours a day

Since I started watching Twoset 6 months ago:
- my classical music playlist went from under 20 pieces to almost 200 currently
- I listen to classical music regularly and appreciate it so much more
- I went to my first classical concert
- It makes me happy when I understand a classical music reference or recognize a piece
- I took back up playing the piano after having given up for over 2 years, and am now motivated enough to teach myself and *actually* practice
- I know that violins are ALWAYS played on the left side! and numerous other facts about violin despite never having even touched one
- and I have something to look forward to and brighten my day when I see a new Twoset video posted.
So thanks Brett and Eddy and the rest of the team for doing what you do :)
wonderful!
You have 69 likes I don't wanna ruin that. But I agree with you 💜
I like this comment and wanted to add my own stuff to it.
Since I started watching Twoset... 4? 5? months ago, somewhere in there, I:
-have learned to recognize various musical mistakes made within movies, for those instruments I have at least a little knowledge of
-have rediscovered my curiosity about the wide variety of musical instruments around the world.
-have discovered that there are some classical pieces I genuinely love, despite it still not being my preferred genre to listen to (ziegunerweisen is one) (I also love Horse Racing on the erhu but idk if that counts as classical, so.)
-my Dad bought a bow for my grandmother's old violin, because I started showing him twoset videos. The violin is no longer sitting unplayed and gathering dust in the closet. :D
-directly related to the previous point, I started violin lessons three ish weeks ago-- and watching Brett and Eddy's videos does actually help me remember to practice.
-I discovered the drama A Seven-Faced Man (Chinese remake of the Korean drama Heal Me, Kill Me) through one of their videos, and I LOVED it. Also that show has a killer intro.
-I figured out why I didn't like jazz music because twoset made me think about how music works and different instruments. Turns out it's not the jazz itself-- i just don't really like the saxophone when used as a main instrument, which it tends to be in jazz. :P
-i was encouraged by their composition videos, and have started writing some of my own pieces, short and beginner-y though they may be.
-i have discovered that anyone can try a new instrument, or pick up an old one; as long as you practice. ;)
Thank you, Brett and Eddy for what you've done with this channel. :)
❤️❤️❤️
Rachel They helped me research more about my instrument and learn to appreciate classical music more than I should :) No wonder why we are thanking them cuz they’re our awesome Aussie violin you tubers

Twoset is an enormous part of why classical music will never die.
Seriously. They have single-handedly made a HUGE impact on the classical community (particularly the young classical community) and really set a tone for an entire generation of musicians to feel united by. And it's phenomenally infectious in the best possible way. They've really impressively scaled the art of delivering encouragement and inspiration, and I think ripple effects from them will be legitimately felt throughout human music history.
@@ItsAsparageese Two Set Violin should be written in the future history books to come. Brett and Eddy, along with the crew who helped in making their videos. I whole heartedly agree that they made a huge impact. I hope everyone will start to appreciate classical music.
I can attest to the diversity of this community. I’m a 45 year old man - with no musical training or any special connection with the classical music world - but not only am I a long time fan - I’m fighting back tears watching this! 😭

I can relate to most of what you say; they truly are inspirational, our muses! 😍😍
What a truly wholesome community Brett and Eddy have created- this gift really says something about who they are as people and the way they make content. The people they attract to their channel are so lovely and have so much solidarity; literally these guys are so cool and such a great example of friendship that a hundred total strangers around the globe, musicians and non-musicians, banded together without ever being asked to create something wholesome and good in response. If you can create that kind of chain-reaction of kindness and teamwork, you are teaching something far more valuable than music to your audience.
Keep it up, guys! 💗😍👏🏿

Agreed ! I'm not that old (36), but I'm very happy to see so many young people appreciating classical music. For years, TwoSet has been working very hard to show that this genre is still relevant. It's awesome to see how they've managed to transmit their passion using modern ways : social media and humour. They sure are playing a huge role today to keep classical music alive.
Rewatching this after #2set3mil virtual world tour bcs i wanna cry more:')
Congratulations brett and eddy! I'm someone who doesnt know music at all (does dabbling in guitar and piano to impress my crush count?) But your videos keep popping up in my recommendations somehow. It wasnt until the last week of 2019 i watched the "pro vs. beginner opera singer" and bcs i was bored i checked out your other videos. I was hooked because your asian antics resonates with me--a fellow chinese ethnic. And also the way you try to introduce classical music through memes hehe.
Your videos made me pay attention to classical music and made me bond again with a best friend who is a musician/choir singer; because she felt left out for not listening to pop music anymore.
Your passion is admirable and inspired me in an unexpected way; i graduated from fine arts but fell out of love and neglected it because i feel i will never be like those high profile artists. Your videos and passion motivated me to restart my art career, because you showed me that you can still work in a field you love even if it's unconventional. Like how twoset became the official Menuhin reporters despite you two "not able" to compete as violinists there.
Ah, this is prolly too long for you to read.
TLDR; keep up the good work, keep the genuine content flowing, dont forget to take rests, and thank you! Hope to see TwoSet Live in Taiwan soon!
The girl to boy ratio was so high
I think maybe girls more involved in the artwork fandom? And the message was sent out t o spread as far as it could, but perhaps the males and females are in different sub Networks? It would be interesting to know the actual pathway the message took, and the demographics...
*Well twoset, you deserve it. I've never felt like I've had such a connection with someone who's not in even in the same room but when the video ends it feels like we've finished a conversation. You guys brought me the love of classical music and I can't thank you enough for making videos that always make me laugh. 💕 **#Lingling**'sslightnodofapproval*
Ekua Osei me too!! This comment deserves more likes!!
I dropped playing the violin after 3 years, but you guys inspired and motivated me to pick it up again and actually work hard to get better on it!! Thank u soo much twoset!! I love u guys! ❤️
Congratulations, keep it up ! 😊👍
If I had a £1 every time I read a similar comment, I'd be a wealthy lady right now. Amazing the influence these two have had in our world...
"the touring we're excited to do"

but seriously, I'm late to this video because I only got into the Ling Ling wannabe community like 2 weeks ago and I love it
Brett: “You cry you lose”

Im a sad, lonely, antisocial, sociopath, but this this still made me feel happy😑
Haewon Kim Me too. 💜
Lolz
❤️
Either way you're lying because a sociopath would never admit it was one or even think that (i assume you're not a sociopath)if you actually are a sociopath then it wouldnt make you happy.
You're the first youtubers I followed. I thought all the youtubers are all people doing pranks to other guys and both od you demostrated to me that I'm totally wrong. Thanks for that. ♥️
Same here, I saw them on my cello teacher's Facebook page 1 day and have been enjoying their videos since. I started learning cello at 49 and somehow do not feel at all out of place here.
@@pakhoy8648 good!! I started with spanish guitar at 44, two years and a half ago and I feel the same 😊

Two set is the best. Especially when you realize that a viola is just a percussion instrument.
I participated in that video, and I'm still wanna cry!
give my biggest appreciation to Brett and Eddy and Twosetter from all of the world!!

The girl who thanked the Marketing team, wasn’t really talking about the Marketing team.
She was saying (in English): And even though life brings us to different and confusing paths...
Yeah I was like uhhh that ain't it
Hello! Several people read the wrong lines, and we didn't get to check the translations as there were over 300+ videos 😅 we'll do better with double-checking next time!
TwoSet Appreciation Content Yeah, no worries. Just noticed that part. 😊
Regardless, it was an awesome video! Great job to the entire team! 💕🎻
You guys did such a great job overall, a few minor mishaps don’t matter. Thanks for speaking for all of us.

"Our toes love each other" PUT THIS ON A TSHIRT ASAP.
The video was so wholesome! I love how it recognized everyone involved and the amount of work done for every video. I have watched twoset for almost 3 years and I purchased my first shirt from their store! I cant wait for my Tchaikovsky (my favorite violin concerto) 2 million twoset shirt!!! I can proudly show off that I am a fan of you guys! I love you!
What a loving tribute. I want to say that it's not only young people who are inspired by your efforts (although that is so so so important). Since discovering your channel this grandma-aged lady has reignited my love of classical music and also learned so much. Keep doing what you do - keep inspiring young musicians and making the world a better place.
Likewise!
I too am a grandma-aged lady and I agree completely! ;-)
Editor san starts playing sibelius at the end....
* 3Mil Sib Drop*?
Maybe 4 million...they’ve got a world tour to get through first!
Yo, that Editor-san 4th wall zoom out had me trippin' for a sec.
Watching this again bc it puts me in the feels, every time 😭
I'm so grateful to be a part of this community.. Thank you TwoSet for inspiring me to make a change and better myself and get back to music!!! I was addicted to drugs for basically 8 years, and during quarantine I got off all the drugs, heroin and weed included, and started playing the violin again. Thank you Twoset. Thank you for helping me embrace who I really am, which is a nerdy awkward musician. Music was my first drug and I'm so glad to be back playing the violin and piano everyday!!! LINGLING 40 HOURS! & PRACTICE! AMAAAZING!INTERESTING! WE LOVE YOU TWOSET
That must bave been very hard for you, congratulations for your courage. I'm so happy to read your comment, I just don't know what to say. It's awesome that TwoSet and their community could help you and I really wish you the best for the future ! 🤗💕💗💖
