I’m not attacking you, but I don’t think it’s that odd to see Seán change his mind about something after doing RUclips for what is (in 2021) almost nine years.
Please hear me out.
I only found Seán’s Channel in April of 2017, so I’ve spent the past four years watching current content and trying to catch up on as many previous videos as I can.
Minecraft isn’t the only thing Seán changed his mind on. After he uploaded TLOU and a couple of other series in 2013, Seán said he was done with long Let’s Plays, because he didn’t think they suited his commentary style.
If his mentality hadn’t naturally evolved, we never would have gotten Undertale, two play-throughs of both Shadow of the Colossus and Papers Please, God Of War, Detroit: Become Human and dozens of others I could spend all day mentioning.
My point is that a lot of people (and I don’t mean you specifically) expect content creators to remain in the same “box” in which they discovered them. Now for some creators? Sure. It works. But not for everyone.
Anyway, I was just watching Slime Rancher for the third time and thought I’d say hello in my long-ass-winded way!

to catch a gold gordo you need to make a master gordo snare and bait the gordo with a gilded ginger, which is a very very rare vegatable that only sponds in the glass desert in a certain spot once a day, one spot is behind the mosaic slime gordo, though they only spond at 5am and stay good for 12 hours. hopefully this was helpful to anyone!

Gold Slimes do have a favourite food. It is called Gilded Ginger and I found it while trying to get some Silver Parsnip for a Gordo. The Gold Slime eats the Gilded Ginger and poops out 3 gold plorts.

Jack, you're using the Spicy Tofu WRONG!!!!! The Slimes can eat infinite amounts of the stuff and not get full, so you're supposed to feed it directly to them to get instant plorts. It DOES NOT work as a normal food source, it just produces plorts.
+Lovemypuppy What I'm saying is that it's inefficient to do it that way. If you put it in the auto feeders it's just like normal food except it doesn't make the slimes happy. You're supposed to find a slime that's selling for a high price and pump them full of tofu to get a lot of plorts really quickly.
