Off topic, Dave; this year I was diagnosed with being on the spectrum for autism at 53 years old. All my life, I felt like I was a mistake, weird, too picky, too scatterbrained, too sensitive, too anxious and too depressed as others told me. Following you over the last few years has really helped heal the perception of myself. You help me realize that I'm not some weirdo who just can't fit into this world. Between my being on the spectrum, some intense childhood abuse and my own struggle with addiction and alcoholism, I'm grateful to understand today that I'm not a mistake. Thanks for helping me through that. And of course, beautiful music as always. Your first jam has some serious Pink Floyd Meddle vibes.

Been watching you for years. Your enthusiasm and love of music is contagious and your playing has come a long way. My guitar heroes used to be on the radio and records. Now they're on RUclips. Peace.
Hi Dave, I've said it before, but I'll say it again....Thank you for being such a HUGE inspiration for us music lover's and guitarists. You're a blessing to us all. Play on "Man of the 'Tyube!" Btw, I've got a Squier 50's Classic Vibes in Sunburst like yours and I LOVE the thing!
These Squier guitars are such a gift to players with a budget! It's especially great to have such quality option for beginners. Squiers are very affordable here in the USA.
what I love about your channel is that youre so enthusiastic and you have an affinity (no pun intended) for affordable gear. You have down to earth, everyday human content and its ace.
The intro reminds me of a trip I took at concert in 69, and it was fantastic. Dave I swear you could play anything and make it sound fabulous ! Thanks for the concert in this 71 years old boy.
The color on that guitar is amazing! Squier is hitting it out of the park with this new series. Thanks from Canada Dave, for demoing this fine instrument!
By the way, can I ask what pedal are you using on this one? Love that Octaver/Pitch shifter sound you’re doing as well on top of that lovely lead tone.
With inexpensive guitars, the tuning stability is the biggest gamble IMO. Especially inexpensive guitar with tremolo bars. If this passes that test, it’s really worth checking out.
Inspiring and fantastic improvisation and a wide sound spectrum with inspiration from many different rock and blues styles. As always, I get inspiration from you for my guitar playing.😊😊😊😊😊😊
I bought another Squier. It's the 40th anniversary model. Found one online in Amsterdam still boxed. Ir's the one in Lake Placid Blue, with golden tuners , pickguard etc. and a blocked pattern on the neck. One of the nicest parts of this hobby is buying gear😊Btw love your Devin Townsend hoodie🤟
It seems like there's never been a better time for entry-level guitar buyers in terms of value for money. Andertons have just done a presentation of Soloking guitars, which they raved about. There's East Coast which both Andertons and Dave have presented as instruments offering enormous value for money. Then, a little higher in price, you can buy a Chapman with alder body, ash veneer, ebony neck with rolled edges. You get all that for £369! It's incredible.
Some of the constituents would like to see you in shorts, Minister ... That was a bloody mile ahead of most RUclips demo shyte playing, Dave. It's always good to see someone show music is NOTES, not brand names.
Seriously Dave, no BS, I think you are one of the best, if not the best contemporary guitar players out there today in the UK. There’s nothing you can’t do on the guitar. Sorry you’re not in a great place. Look forward to your G4M, Jet, sonic start comparison, perfect timing just before Christmas there whole new generation of kids hoping to unwrap one on Christmas Day. Keep up the great work.
I remember a time when one got laughed at for having a Squier, but they've really stepped up their game. There's a certain Tele of theirs I've had my eye on.
I have a classic vibe thin line tele and it's amazing. Not just for the money either, I went shopping for a tele and tried many, including American performer and mexican player, even a sire, but the classic vibe just ticks all the boxes at half the price so I got myself a blues junior to go with it haha had a 1k budget for a tele and walked out with an amp that is now my number one rig. Love Squier and epiphone guitars they offer great value and are great guitars cork sniffers beware I'm coming with my squires and epiphones. Also Yamaha is a very underrated brand aswell they make amazing acoustic and electric guitars.
The more I play mine (SSH), the more I like it. Can't believe they say these are "entry level". I've been playing for 57 years, and well... I'm a bit beyond "entry level", and I love this guitar!
Amazing video as always Dave! Thank you! I have two Squiers, both modded to an extent. My Squier Affinity Tele has some custom wound pickups that, to me, really bring the guitar to life! TUSQ nut and added a 4 way switch that is just incredibly flexible tonally! My Squier Strat SE has only had a setup and a TUSQ nut, along with a full size Wilkinson trem and, wow, just wow! 40 quid well spent on the guitar! A little bit more on the mods but it has sent my "Custom" MIM Fender into storage its that good! NOw I just wish I could play them as well as you! 🙂
I have the 50th anniversary 1996 Korean Squier stratocaster based off the 54 with the 3 tone burst and maple board....it's one of my favorite guitars...it's got all the scars from me playing it in pubs for a decade. I love it. My lead guitarist at the time had a Clapton USA strat and he always wanted to play my Squier ....when I worked for a guitar export company that handled Squier and other brands over seas you'd find out of a dozen, at least 2 were gems...I got a gem. I think now 30 years later they've probably gotten more consistent than they used to be.
As long as Squier has been around and yet people have trouble spelling it! anyway "Squier" are really on top of quality now, just like Epiphone! I recently bought a Squier Cabronita Thinline Telecaster which has Jazzmaster pickups installed and they sound fantastic! Great little guitar!
