Fantastic house, I’m nearby in plymouth and love Cornwall, pretty much fully booked at the moment but will bookmark it and aim to get there one day ! Really nicely done im sure it will be worth the effort and cost !
Finally a car You Tuber with his priorities straight 😀. I will share this video with my wife. I have a feeling this will hit my Porsche saving fund 😂. Very nice house. Well done 👍
Well I must apologise. Here was me thinking this was some shameless advertising of your holiday house for rent presented under the flimsy excuse that 'people' had asked to see it. But right at the end 15:10, you actually invited us to stay if we like the place. Thanks very much, I'll take the 2nd week in September. Its a bit of a drive from where I live but the free accommodation more than makes up for it.
Do you mind if we share that week, there’s only 2 of us plus my neighbours kids and their friends with the cats. It’ll be a blast. We’ll only use half the wine fridge to keep the buckfast at the right temp.looking fwd to it!
Peter...Thank you so much for this video which is so good to see. What a place..what a view...and how well you have designed, refitted and finished it! Highly impressive and it clearly means a lot to you both. We are moving as well and I have a project to fully refurbish a four bedroom, four bathroom, three storey house...which means that if we get it in September, I have 5/6 months of work before we move in! Far better than a supercar...like you, we might have bought a Ferrari Pista and a Bentayga for shopping but that would be a rather short sighted decision..so I get to enjoy a lot of emulsion paint, renew my carpentry skills and build my all new garage and workshop...at last!!! Peter..well done again...I hope you get flooded with enquires...but there was one vital thing...where do we park the car?...or do I get a 51 plate Micra to leave out on the road? Safe driving Peter...enjoy that view...just wonderful!!!😀😀😀😀😀
Rule of thumb is your car shouldn’t be worth more than 10% of the value of your house. Otherwise you are driving beyond your means. Ped probably can’t afford any car now.
What a stunning property this is. Superb interior design and looks so homely. This is, I believe one of the best car channels, and as a fellow petrol head who loves property, ticks all the boxes. Keep up your brilliant channel and will definitely look to stay with the missus and our Whippet.
I have a massive and beautiful house in Dorset with stunning views to Portland and Weymouth but still, every summer I go to Portugal... I still feel the need to go abroad... in my view you can’t be small minded... with all due respect have you been abroad like algarve , Miami, Mexico brazil... I have been there and , it’s a different level mate... I can’t wait to buy my house abroad... don’t take me wrong, we have stunning places in the Uk, but we are in a lower league... not premier, not championship maybe league one ... best regards
What a stunning Cornish property 👍. We spend a lot of our holiday time in Cornwall and know what a special place it is. If anyone is hesitant please don’t be. You will not regret a visit to Cornwall, you will go back again and again
Lovely house Peter, you and Mrs P have done a fabulous job with decor and home furnishings to make it a home away from home and so pleased you are allowing dogs not often the case with five star accommodation.
Love this thank you Pete. We were lucky enough to bump into you last week and chat with you and see the house in person. It’s stunning and your love for the house and for Mevagissey shines through on the video. Good to see the gorgeous pooches enjoying the sunshine there too 😊
Wow mate what a beautiful house. Hats off to Mrs Petrol Ped for her interior design. But that view (views) I could already see myself sitting on the deck having a coffee or wine depending on the time of day and just taking it in. And now that i know you have the room for soon to be 3 kids that is on the list of must visit places (might be some time before we get to travel again out of AU 🤷♂️). Just beautiful!!
Mate...that place is special. Just a beautiful home so very well finished and thought out. I'd have that over a supercar any day and would have a huge grin on my face everytime I was heading down to Cornwall. You have every right to be proud of that place. Superb.
I stayed at the Headlands Hotel in Mevagissey in 1999 for the total eclipse and I thought you were going to say you did not have a super car because of the narrow streets there and the narrow lanes in Cornwall, but your house has exceptional views.
Really enjoyed the video Ped. Your house is an absolute credit to you both. I would take the house over a Supercar every time mate. That house is pure escapism. Love your interior doors, love the whole place. Well done. 👌👍
Hi Pete, I’m really pleased you have showed us your holiday home. What a stunning property I can just imagine taking a big mug of tea out on to the deck on a early summer’s morning and just sitting there dunking my digestives looking at that view absolute bliss 😊cheers Phil.
Great choice. We run 2 converted barns in West Dorset as holiday homes rather than owning a supercar. It can be hard work to maintain the best standards, hope your guests treat all your hard work with respect!

Absolutely the right decision. What a beautiful place. The car is nice to have as an asset ( a deprecating one ) but the house is an appreciating one and you get to use and enjoy.
Lovely house, I live in Truro, only a few miles away and have done so for over 35 years and never get bored of this county. Can't imagine how you have driven some of your cars through Mavagissey , especially the RS6, very narrow!!!
What an amazing place. Thank the lord there’s a youtuber who’s not buying a new car every week. I love the diversity on your channel Pete it’s what makes it interesting. Keep it up mate❤️👍
Holy Moly Batman! That is a PROPER view home. What a gem! Thanks for that tour. I'm in sunny SoCal so I can't really say I'm too likely to ever book a stay, but if I could I would in a hot second. Well played, sir. 👍

Pete , You taken the most sensible option investing very wisely and the very reason i stopped watching the other's who were monetising their channels with flash cars ...Those guys don't represent true life or factual information .. Pete , You are sensational and brilliant with what you and Mrs Ped have created , WELL DONE . AWESOME !🙏🙏
What a stunning house and I totally agree that this is a brilliant investment. With the exception of some supercars, most cars loose value whereas your house will gain value. You and your wife have clearly spent a lot of time and love on the house and it shows. I sincerely hope that you'll get many bookings with people who enjoy it. The view is simply amazing. Just one comment based on personal experience of having owned 3 holiday cottages (my parents), I think an open fire or wood burner would have been the icing on the cake. We had them in all our properties and always received extremely positive feedback about this feature - especially from people who stayed in the colder months.
We considered that as we love an open fire or wood burner. They are a pain to manage in a rental but the big problem was the cost of getting one installed in this house 😢
Hi Pete, wow what a beautiful home in an awesome setting. Bricks and mortar is a far better retirement fund than an supercar mate and I for one am extremely jealous of your beautiful home 👍. I don't know Cornwall that well but I have a feeling I'm going to get to know it intimately having seen this video. I shall be checking out the letting agents as soon as I finish writing this comment. Well done mate you and Mrs Greaves should be very proud 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🏁
Oh, that is an absolutely BRILLIANT vacation home by the sea!! (Be sure to book yourselves some time there in advance, or there may never be vacancies again!) Just a gorgeous property...and THAT VIEW! Well Done!
Fantastic house sir pete if my wife and I ever get to travel out of the USA we both agree this is were we would go! Those views are just amazing!! You should be proud sir pete you and your wife did a great job!
Just dropped on this .Absolutely gorgeous holiday home.how generous you both are to.Drive down in a classic to get discount.only kidding Pete. I angled the screen so my wife could see, hint now dropped. Not sure my Fiat X1-9 would get all the way down there from Lancaster.Great channel.
Very nice and different video! Life is not only nice cars but also all kind of things that make our lives and moments special and definatelly this house is very special for you as a project and also would be special to those who will decide to come, visit and stay in it . I wish i can make it over some time. Keep up the good work !!
Wow Pete wow. Amazing place and those views OMG. Mevagissey is an amazing place and yes great places to eat and drink. Might look at stopping next year, but my Scotland is calling so we'll see. Also, a huge reason I and most people on here love you is the fact your a normal person with normal (ish) life. RUclips is an amazing income when you have millions and millions of subs and become a sell out. Congrats on an amazing place. Just be sure to add a note to the listing that anyone who stays that has an RS6's needs to be careful getting up to the house!
Wow !! You & Mrs Ped have done an amazing job with the house. Those views of Mevagissey take me back to my childhood. Our first holiday was at Par Sands, on the beach in a wooden “hut”, around 1960. My dad had a Mk 1 Ford Consul & nearly had us in the water trying to negotiate the harbour when a large truck came from the opposite direction !! Now heading towards 70 I’ll never forget those wonderful memories. Good luck with getting plenty of bookings, I’m sure that won’t be a problem, sadly I wouldn’t be able to make the climb. Thanks for sharing your beautiful holiday home.
Spent some time in Cornwall in the early 2000s. Fantastic town filled with awesome people. It's very similar to an area here in South Africa called Simons Town in the Western Cape.
Just seen this video. I grew up in St.Austell. Mevagissey was one of our favourite haunts.Big carpark at the bottom and then a short stroll to the harbour side. I live in Norfolk now which is a sort of Cornwall of twenty years ago :-)
Lovely house would go well with my Dacia Duster and Vauxhall Viva. My days with expensive cars have gone we spend on holidays, good food and wine! Keep up the great videos. I’ve had many lovely holidays in St Ives and Padstow.
That's spooky! I just finished watching another You Tuber channel Paul Dinning with fantastic drone footage of Mevagissey on a day just like yours. Was very taken by the shop in the harbour named "She Sells". It looks a very very nice location. Well done sir.
Yes your right .it's a beautiful view . And such a good idea have a holiday home in UK . We did something similar but bought a villa in Cyprus. It's worth all the struggle eventually. Trouble is we don't always get out to Cyprus as often .
Hi Ped, what can I say about Harbour Heights too many lovely details to mention a truly special place and both you and Mrs Ped have done a stunning job. I did love the fact you pulled in Goodwood to the property somewhere that is important and close to you both 👍
Beautiful house in a breathtaking location. I expect it to be fully booked up for the foreseeable future, especially with current restrictions on travelling abroad. Well done sir it's a beauty.
Beautiful, mate, absolutely beautiful. Hat's off to Mrs Ped (good idea letting her do the design, she nailed it). One thing - screw covers missing on the light switches triggers me! Very minor. Thanks for the look around, much appreciated as we were all waiting for it.
What a location! That's a perfect view, like you said always something happening looking down to the sea. I am from South Wales in the Afan Valley and am lucky to have beautiful views of the countryside but you can't beat a view of the sea, awesome home mate.
Been to this town as a kid with my parents and probably didn't appreciate it. Would love to bring my wife and two little dogs to your property fo a long weekend/week. Beautiful place.

Cheers Neil 👍

Don’t worrying. We have off street parking 👍
Imagine that place in a country where the sun shines more than 3 times a year!
You can say that about dubai

£64k back in 1998, that will have appreciated nicely! Very few £60k cars back then would have gone up in value like this, smart move as ever 👍
i have been going to Cornwall for more than 30 years, that house my friend is stunning, well done and all the best to you both
Stunning home mate. Absolutely love it 👏👏
Late catching up with the comments. We should do a road trip down there 👍
Lovely house Peter, you and Mrs P have done a fabulous job with decor and home furnishings to make it a home away from home and so pleased you are allowing dogs not often the case with five star accommodation.
Pups are allowed only if their humans are well behaved 😜😂
Wow, Its got better fuel economy than a super car ;-)....... What view! Bet the books will be full after the fab video. Brilliant!
Thanks Keith 👍
Perfect can see why the collaboration Business with Joe both have the right genuine priorities. Good people.
We try 👍

We aren’t that keen either but it needs to start earning its keep 😬😂
@@PetrolPed It's beautiful. Was going to say MAD letting dogs in! Our three have destroyed our home. Not all dogs as good as yours.

Hello Peter!
Well, what can I say? Superlatives fail me completely!
You can’t live in a supercar. The balance you have with the fleet and both beautiful homes is a credit to you both.
All the best to you both with your venture! 🥂
I could have a big V6 something, but I have a 32 foot motor boat instead which I enjoy using, or just pottering about on. My partner and I have had many an evening meal on the aft deck, watching the sunset, drinking some nice chilled wine. Bliss.

Hi Peddlerz, NICE CRIB Peter, don’t suppose you got a money off code lol 😂
Need to know what the prices are Peter lad? I seen prices now G, for 3 peeps not cheap, wasn’t expecting it to be given away but it’s a lot.
Sadly not, Mrs PP is in charge 😂

That is a gem of a house. If I’m ever in Cornwall I know where I’m staying!
Wow, that house as changed my mind about never taking my holidays in England. Stunning house
Stunning place! As someone who lives in the west country, its good to see someone with at least with Cornish roots owning a property there.
I've tried fishing off the harbour wall there many years ago...without much success ! Stunning view.
Peter that is a beautiful amazing house, I could sit there all day watching life go by. The decor is spot on and to a high standard ...the cooker extractor, I saw in an expo at the place I work at.

Life is not only nice cars but also all kind of things that make our lives and moments special and definatelly this house is very special for you as a project and also would be special to those who will decide to come, visit and stay in it . I wish i can make it over some time. Keep up the good work !!
Thank You 🙏🏻
Absolutely stunning. Respect for such a lovely place
Simply stunning Ped. All credit to you and your good lady
Congratulations on having a fabulous second home. You’ve obviously worked very hard along the way.
Thanks Chris. We have indeed 👍
Spectacular! Had a holiday in that area a couple of years ago and absolutely loved Mevagissey. That view is worth a thousand Supercars!
Thanks 🙏🏻
Never seen a holiday house promoted so well. Interior is as great as the view outside! Congragtz!!!
Thanks Guy 👍
This is a particularly reflective Petrol Ped, with very good reason considering recent vid. Lovely house and location. Best wishes for your venture.
Thank You 🙏🏻
Only just seen this Peter... no idea how I missed it!!! Absolutely stunning!!!!
Thanks 🙏🏻
Wow Pete wow.
Amazing place and those views OMG. Mevagissey is an amazing place and yes great places to eat and drink. Might look at stopping next year, but my Scotland is calling so we'll see.
Also, a huge reason I and most people on here love you is the fact your a normal person with normal (ish) life. RUclips is an amazing income when you have millions and millions of subs and become a sell out.
Congrats on an amazing place. Just be sure to add a note to the listing that anyone who stays that has an RS6's needs to be careful getting up to the house!
Oh yes, driving through the village is a bit tight but our parking space is OK 👍
That soundbar BELOW the telly, perfect height for a 5 year old to swing on it and see how well mounted it "WAS" !!!
Wow !! You & Mrs Ped have done an amazing job with the house. Those views of Mevagissey take me back to my childhood. Our first holiday was at Par Sands, on the beach in a wooden “hut”, around 1960. My dad had a
Mk 1 Ford Consul & nearly had us in the water trying to negotiate the harbour when a large truck came from the opposite direction !! Now heading towards 70 I’ll never forget those wonderful memories. Good luck with getting plenty of bookings, I’m sure that won’t be a problem, sadly I wouldn’t be able to make the climb.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful holiday home.
Cheers Geof 👍
Spent some time in Cornwall in the early 2000s. Fantastic town filled with awesome people. It's very similar to an area here in South Africa called Simons Town in the Western Cape.
Just seen this video. I grew up in St.Austell. Mevagissey was one of our favourite haunts.Big carpark at the bottom and then a short stroll to the harbour side. I live in Norfolk now which is a sort of Cornwall of twenty years ago :-)
Man you have pulled my heart strings. I'm looking to move back down to Cornwall. Thanks dude!
Much better investment than a supercar. Location, location, location! And you've nailed all three!!! :)
Thank You 🙏🏻
Who needs a supercar, when you have a gorgeous place like that! Loved the painting on the wall in the dinning room.
We actually bought that and then designed the room around it 👍
Lovely house would go well with my Dacia Duster and Vauxhall Viva. My days with expensive cars have gone we spend on holidays, good food and wine!
Keep up the great videos. I’ve had many lovely holidays in St Ives and Padstow.
Spectacular! Totally agree with your priorities, even as a really dedicated car freak myself.
That's spooky! I just finished watching another You Tuber channel Paul Dinning with fantastic drone footage of Mevagissey on a day just like yours. Was very taken by the shop in the harbour named "She Sells". It looks a very very nice location. Well done sir.
I know that shop. I can never say the name though. Bit of a tongue twister 😂
Yes your right .it's a beautiful view . And such a good idea have a holiday home in UK . We did something similar but bought a villa in Cyprus. It's worth all the struggle eventually. Trouble is we don't always get out to Cyprus as often .
Stunning house! Lived in St.Austell for most of my life (now in Truro) and Meva is one of my favourite places down here. Great video
Yes I grew up in Cornwall and left at 25 for a new career. Still have relatives there to visit.
Yep. Now fully booked till November 👍
Beautiful, mate, absolutely beautiful. Hat's off to Mrs Ped (good idea letting her do the design, she nailed it). One thing - screw covers missing on the light switches triggers me! Very minor. Thanks for the look around, much appreciated as we were all waiting for it.
I used to love going on holiday to Mevagissey when I was a child. Fantastic house in a fantastic location.
Thanks 🙏🏻
What a location! That's a perfect view, like you said always something happening looking down to the sea. I am from South Wales in the Afan Valley and am lucky to have beautiful views of the countryside but you can't beat a view of the sea, awesome home mate.
I think you’ve got a Super 2nd home and a Super Car collection...... best of both worlds.
No longer available to rent? 😢 I’m not new to PetrolPed, but completely missed this
Sold it 2 years ago 😢
Stunning house and stunning price, bit out my price range unfortunately. But honestly a house to be mega proud of.
Thanks Gareth 👍
Been to this town as a kid with my parents and probably didn't appreciate it. Would love to bring my wife and two little dogs to your property fo a long weekend/week. Beautiful place.
Still plenty of time to get a supercar! That home you have built there is once in a lifetime opportunity, truly beautiful!
