I really enjoy watching your videos. The fact that there’s always something to learn from. You just never know when that knowledge may come in handy lol
Well most importantly, after watching a lot of your videos seeing a wide variety of setups, turbos, fuel system, supporting mods, etc. I can say I have a pretty accurate estimate when I meet other evo owners and ask about their build and whatnot. Or if other evo owners may ask for my opinions about certain mods or whatever lol Typically when I watch your videos, I learn what to do and what not to do. What mods goes best with what and what doesn’t and so on.
dougie’s my boi 😎 been watching this build since he first told me about it. absolutely love it and can’t wait to see it in person when he/I visit. Bubbles is a mean SOB 😂😂😂
@Anderson D yeah I hear you. Gsc came in the game a tad bit later than kelford. They are great because they are billet and kelfords are still cast. Kelford had some breakage "issues" at one point. Gsc makes a good Cam, when I'm building or tuning the kelford seems to perform better....GSC are on the hype train at the moment, for good reason though they do make power. All around better cam would be Kelford though from experience of building and tuning. Since the DSM days. Can't go wrong with either but kelford nudges them.
@@Kenuwine24 I’m not at all doubtful . I remember back in the days when I was getting my Evo V built, kelfords were the recommendation from all my buddies, I now got the Evo X , and most noticeable builds I’ve seen online just seems to hype ( with results ) the gsc a bit more. I’m no tuner or builder so I’ll steal from yours and others wisdom 😁 Maybe I’ll try them both 😁
@BD Alchemist ok 😆 lol just got stop by a cop a while a go saying I was speeding, and my car was loud cuz I alter the muffler. The muffler is blown so it's extremely louder . Got away anyways 🤪
How long do you think it takes to bulid an engine. Im having a evo x engine getting darton sleeved and built. I told him no rush but the engine was sent in ever since 6/14/22 and its still not done yet. Only update was that my engine was on the next batch to get machined around 12/02/22.
@bdalchemist I rather not say. Don't want to bad mouth anyone. Just know it's a popular shop for evos. I was told that he lost a couple of his guys and that was a setback. I'm just trying to be optimistic about the whole situation.
Seems like the turbo is too big. I would rather have it peak earlier and hold through than have a straight line and highest hp is just one point at the end

Anything specific from this vid? Just curious

Heck yeah! I feel like the evo needs a lot of trouble shooting. I’m sold, that’s enough convincing for me. And still a great tuner.

Big facts his car is a beasssttt
Loving the extra time and efforts to put the little details ❤
Thank u
Wow... love the green. That's my favorite color.
My first car was a similar shade of green.
Always a pleasure watching your videos
I got this same setup besides a gtx3576 I was thinking to switch to the gtx3584 to keep torque lower on stock block what’s you’re thoughts
That color is beautiful
Yes it is, it's even better in person
How would you say this spool is compared to the 76r? Both in stock frame/location configuration
The best cam for the Evo x and best turbo before you go full blown race car.
Arguable because I think there are many great setups with the GSC’s known for their results

@Anderson D honestly I think it's marketing... but shhhhhh you ain't hear it from me lol
@@Kenuwine24 😂😂😂😂😂
is this a ticking time bomb or is it a solid set up before building the block? what key mods will prevent crazy lag?
This is solid. We have plenty of these setups running for 3+ years no issues. Lag is subjective. Smaller cams will reduce lag.
How late does this spool compared to a 3576r?
I would say mods have a lot to do with it , but around 500rpms
Nice FOB, i guess he mostly preparing for a full built..Sound real laggy. My numbers were 544/387..Decent
Not laggy at all, not like a 6466

Can't say for others but now says it's 4-6 weeks. Last summer was 4 weeks.

do you do remote tuning?
I def do, u can find me on FB/insta @bdalchemist
What shifter setup is that?
WK Motorsport Short Throw Shifter.
Thx much.

But its on stock block. Less stress down low is better for it at the moment, so higher peak is better in this build.
