nathan’s reaction was not bad at all if anything hayley was horrible for being upset with him when she hid it from and told him the minute he finds out about his lifelong dream coming true. he needed time to himself and her being the upset one is crazy

Yeah, honestly, his response was fine. He was honest and didn't lash out. He calmly told her how he felt and walked away before saying something he couldn't take back. He later expressed his joy and said in a press conference that "...if I play basketball", he would make that decision with the counsel of his family and told Haley they were gonna face everything together.
He's not wrong. She should have said something weeks ago.
She didn’t want him to feel trapped I guess they just made up but her timing is bad…
I think it comes from a place of fear given what happened with Dan and Karen. She didn't want Nathan to feel trapped, or that she did it on purpose.
I actually agree. I mean dramatic me at the time thought that was a hurtful thing to say, but now I’m like he didn’t say anything bad, and it was the truth.
All things considered he handled it pretty responsibility. He could’ve been nicer about it maybe. He immediately started asking her about Stanford and tried to start planning things given this curveball. He told her firmly but honestly how he felt about her keeping it from him. And ultimately he stuck by her.
The brothers in this show are night and day with how they treat the women in their lives, at least while they’re in high school. Then they character assassinate Nathan during the Carrie stuff. Luke just keeps being an idiot.
Knowing Haley was pregnant I still don't get why she asked Brooke to keep it a secret having everyone believe that she was the one having a baby

Watch it. It's a great show. There are some weird parts, and after Season 6 it gets a little tired, but seeing the completion of the Dan arc is well worth watching the whole thing.

This storyline never made sense to me. Why wasn’t she on birth control? They made it seem like she trapped him, especially after they just had a fight about birth control.
But didn't she get pregant the night she wasn't on it? the night that lead to the fight
@@wendyyhamptonyeah she did. I think I would’ve preferred they had her be pregnant at the end of the season and she has the baby during the timeskip instead of her technically being pregnant that entire time during the fight in season 3 which almost makes the whole fight seem either pointless or justified depending on how you look at it.

It also was never right of Haley to keep it a secret in the first place. I get that she was nervous but it’s as much his child as hers and he had just as much a right to know as she did. I don’t think it’s ever right to hide the child from the father unless you absolutely had to.
