This Lis Toj is one of the best song writers and one of the best singers. All the people of his generation love him. As one, I grew up idolizing him. I got the chance to meet him many times and contrary to what people said about him, I believe he is very humble. I am sure if we have a Fame Club, he will be in that club. Long life to you Lis Toj and do what you do best to entertain us.
This guy was a good singer. He could of been legendary in the Hmong Music Industry. But with POOR mindset, attitude, and meaning, his singing career ended very quick. He lack the public relation skills with the Hmong Community and that was why his fame and reputation fell over night. When he was still with his 1st wife he was very successful, but with his 2nd wife he LOST everything. He also owned a business here, in Clovis California, couple of years ago and many Hmong Community did not support his business because of his lies, hate, anger and cheating the Hmong Community. This guy has a bad reputation everywhere he goes. When he lost his business, he moved to Minnesota with his 2nd wife. That was the last I heard about Lis Toj. The business that he sold to another Hmong Owner is doing very successful. Every hour there's customer. This just comes to show that if you have POOR mindset, attitude, and meaning in life it can bring you down very quick no matter how good of a singer you are. Especially in the Hmong Community when everyone knows each other. Every Clan Leader knows each other. I gather a lot with the Lee Clan and TRUST me when I say this: Every person in the LEE CLAN hates this person. Not just the Lee Clan that hates him....all the Hmong Clan hates him and have very bad things to say about him. The bad stories about this person goes on and on. Many people told me his 2nd wife was a prostitute in Laos and he fell in love with her.
