How do you build an operating system on top of python? Or did I misunderstand that python was so close to the metal that you could build an operating system on top of it?
I did this the other month on Python! Ended up taking me 5+ days because I’m newer to it. Actually ended up making an extra file that allows the score to save so I can flex my 300 score 😂
I don't even get how Tetris works. The pseudocode just doesn't make sense to me. How do you handle collisions, the block's type, orientation, position etc.? I used to do .Net and Java (in separate jobs) coding professionally. I've built other games like Pong, Breakout, a broken Minesweeper etc. but Tetris just makes my brain melt.
@@epixerty it actually is, its a visual programming language which is still a programming language. It fits all the criteria of a programming language. Give me 1 reason why it shouldn't be considered one

It's easy just make it using pygame and convert it into exe file using pyinstaller. Python can embed pygame into an exe file. And I wonder, are you using socket module?
no, python is usually used for making apps, you can create games using python but not anything big. usually the game is like an rpg or something very simple. no big games are built using python.

For games like this start by making the board(like i did when i made my space invader on C++ xD) After board try adding character/player or bricks in this case.
