8:59 How did that flashlight get in there? Also never really understood the purpose of single-stream collection, rather than collecting paper items separate from the rest. Just seems to be a huge effort to separate it all out again after collection, and quite a bit of the paper is likely contaminated and of lower value.
Separate collections of items DID result in a higher quality collections rate. Unfortunately, too many people think that what they have to do, to insure a better, non-contaminated, collection is too much effort for them. Somehow, trash is magically taken care of tor them.
hi sir/mam may i contact you for formal request to have a illustration model of smart sortation machine for my thesis regarding waste management facility thanks

@@mainemavin Aye, that people find it too difficult to put things in two separate bins.
Can you make a machine that separate the garbage? Many people mix garbage with cans.
They must get quite a bit of recycling there

What is the OCC mean?
it means Old Corrugated Cardboard
Doesn't seem economical to me, nontheless looks good for the ecosystem somewhat
Just the aluminum and steel here will pay for everything else.
WHAT A BIG FUCKING MESS...
