Gorgeous production & review of Husky Stadium. Lifelong Seattleite and Husky fan and have always been in awe of that stadium. Thank you! Your video was perfect!
UW grad here, '11-'15. 4 year member of the Husky Marching Band. My rookie/freshman year of the Old Stadium, one year at CenturyLink, then finished in the New Greatest Setting. I bleed purple & gold(highschool & college colors). UW is a special place for me. Played trumpet for 4 years in the HMB. 50+ UW Football games, 3 years basketball band, 3 years volleyball band, 2 years baseball/softball. As HMB Alumi, we get into games for free. Been to every game the last 4 years; planning to do the same this year. -CjP, UW Husky Marching Band, '11-'15.
I was a student at the UW that day and I remember the buzz about it on campus. It was the 1987 addition that collapsed from some engineering design flaw.
I sure hope so! I’ve been in Moscow quite a bit and have tried to go several times but my schedule hasn’t allowed for me to make it to the dome for a game or when it’s open to the public. I think I’m going to be out there one more time and will try again.
Go Cougs! My girlfriend is a grad student at WSU and have done several videos from their games. Check them out and let me know what you think. I got a lot of love from UW fans on this video which was a little awkward… haha!

Well put! I’m glad I got to explore it for a little bit! Thanks so much for sharing your experience there.

For sure! I loved the layout and the history. Have you checked out my stadium review on Lambeau Field?

You should’ve included that one of the grandstands collapsed!
Ah! I found that in my research but didn’t put it in. You’re totally right though.

Very nice video. I am flying to Seattle this fall for the Michigan game. I can't wait to see the stadium on game day.
Saw it in person many times when i was in Seattle for doctor appointments. Sadly, i live in moscow. I still have yet to see a game in husky stadium
It’s an amazing venue! Totally worth checking it out. I actually may have a video coming out from University of Idaho soon!
@@SACSportsAdventures nice. I'm from moscow so the university of idaho is the "home town team" for me
GO DAWGS!!
You didn't mention that the stadium sells beer and Ivar's seafood 😋
No way! That’s cool. I wasn’t able to be there for a game so I never realized this!
@@SACSportsAdventures Yep, Ivar's seafood is the best. It was in the Parts Unknown (Anthony Bourdain) Seattle episode.
They need to build an upper deck over the west endzone seating
That would really close it in nicely.
@@SACSportsAdventuresthey may do one similar to Seahawks stadium. Tapered.
Go Huskies!
Any chance your going to check out the kibbie dome next time your in the pnw?

You didn't talk about the uniqe lake access and sailgating.
