He was not pinned, but you can be pinned from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the shoulder blades as in a stack - according to the NFHS rules which most states follow.
Ben Eastman no they’re actually different. It’s the leg in that makes it different. A banana split comes from a standard leg ride, where as the spladle comes from the opposite leg being in. Most people hit the spladle from the single leg, think about which leg it is.
@@n.h6001 a spindle is when you are on top in ref position. Then you go to other side and spladle the leg to put him on his hip!! Banana Splits are when you have your leg in, Then you goto the other you can goto a Wrestling Guillotine, a bow and arrow, and or The splits.
The way these referees officiate these matches, in the State of Hawaii the coaches would lose their minds. They still like things operated according to the 80's standard of excellence.. In their wonder why away kids don't go on to college in excel and while we get smoke at national tournaments
@@NinjaNovice Maybe I mean we're just talking about old school mentality you know. Pretty much all around. We got good referees but for each of the counties to pony up Union money, Go out to Vegas for a big dual meat and watch. would never happen but it would be super beneficial. I also forgot how good this dual highlight real was.
We (St.Stephen's School for Boys) wrestled against Blair wrestlers back in 88'! These guys are STILL BEAST more than 30 years later!🤣
That's because Blair recruits kids from across the country.
3:50 that guy was so not pinned
When the refs see a stud like that they already know hes gonna pin him so they just save some time
@@ThatDawgDontHunt they should make the stud show his worth and actually earn the pin
@@peterpeterson1378 they guy made it look easy
Agreed!
Right the got cheated on that one
Who in the hell gets pinned in a tilt?
Free lunch
Mike Betancourt You are correct. Lions just clamp your sorry ass and stick you. Nothing personal. They are superior to everyone else.
wimps.… they are called also fishes
also going to say someone that never learned to bridge right. Seemed lots had that issue. 0 neck str
Sometimes tilts are so tight and executed well, that both your shoulders get stuck
If your recruiting from all over the country. You better be the best team assembled. I’m not impressed by their team accomplishments.
I've made a similar comment on another video of theirs and one regarding Bishop McCourt and nobody seems to think the same as you and i.
SPOT ON!!!! sick and tired of these hand picked all-star teams laud each other about how "great we are"
3:50 might be the worst call I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. I will take that refs job just contact me here.
Single shoulder pin. Home cookin.
NO NO NO he was pinned. His knee covered his shoulder
@@zachhaase4712 you don't pin the shoulders you win by pinning the shoulder blades
SaveBlueEyes actually has nothing to do with shoulders at all. It is the scapula that has to be pinned down on the mat

Great to see the Ferrari brothers doing great things there. #TxMade
Agreed. Did not know they transferred. Wonder what prompted the change
uhhh
@@crazythomas_ 🤣🤣 hey cut my a break, this was 3 years ago Slapnut! ☠️💀🤦🏽🤦🏽
atleast aj looks to be doing well
Like the last 30 years ......Blair is best team in Jersey.
Funny shit. Same ol same ol. Recruiting = win
Foca will start over Julian at Cornell
They're not wrestling the same weight so I don't think it will matter
Julian would stomp him, and I don’t think There the same weight
treis531 foca got lucky because Ramirez was gassed. Ramirez was also winning. And wtf calling me zacky lmao
treis531 ur just toxic bc Blair doubled their score
What’s the music in this video
Julian loves social media
Several of those pins were not pins. Should not be a different rule system just because it is high level wrestling.
Is this varsity???
I would assume
Of course
Great review
Owen putting the 843 on the map #weareAR
Great sports guys nice one ☝️🏋️♂️💪🏽💪🏽🦵🏽🦵🏽🤼♂️🏆🥇🥈

Banana split... not a spladle.
Banana Lover same thing
100% a Banana split.... where do they get some of these guys that talk about wrestling, or even ref!!

Ty Hatfield that’s basically what I said. You can’t spladle from a leg ride (I.E same leg, your right leg in on his right leg).
No Beau Bartlett?
That 220llbs from BC is lit, what lab was that nigga made in
What happened to Josh McKenzie?
Carolina Blood graduated

These officials are some of the best high school officials in the nation. I take it the Hawaii coaches would lose their minds in a good way?

Wtf are these pins man I’ve had kids way closer than most of these and never had them called smh
Terrible refs
Not really that impressed. From what I've seen from Minnesota and Iowa teams. I would put many of them ahead of these guys.
Ferrari really wiegh 220 ?
He said he was about 200 lbs for that match and was as low as 189lbs a couple of weeks earlier.
His weight fluctuates a lot. He was wrestling up a little bit.
Packages.....
