I just want to let you know that pls refer the clause of IS 456 its clearly mentioned that the percentage of steel shall calculated with respective to the longitudinal bar's for the column ......pls explain this method how u got and reference of the source since simple way is to dive the total cross section if the longitudinal bar's to the gross section of the concrete and u will get the percentage if the steel.....pls let me know the reference of ur calculation
