This kid is once in a century athlete. Is he still in high school at 19? As a freshman in the ncaa last year 2014, he came in 2nd place and almost won the match in the last second. Had he half a second more, he would have earned a winning takedown. Now, here he is taking time off of school to win gold medals in both the Pan Am Games and the World Championships, held in Las Vegas. The kid's amazing, simply amazing.

      +Joe Vargas
Criteria. He had more takedowns than Gadisov (2 to 1), that's the best way to describe it in a nutshell. Another example would be if it were a 5-5 tie, is if one wrestler has 2 takedowns and a caution, to the other wrestler's 4 point throw and a pushout, by virtue of the 4 point move, THAT wrestler would win. Does it make sense?
      Gadisov had 1 2 pointer and 3 1 pointers, Snyder had 2, 2 pointers and 1, 1 point.

Kyle had a push out and two TDs, where Gadisov had one takedown and three push outs. Basically the two TDs trump the one takedown. If they both had 2 takedowns and a push out it goes to who scored last. It goes to the wrestler with the higher scoring moves.

очко взятое с помощью "step out" (когда выталкиваешь противника из пределов мата), за которое дают 1 очко, не дает победы при равном счете. А вот если сравняться в счете с помощью "тейк-дауна" (2 очка) тогда при равном счете победа твоя.
