Kenmore Dishwasher. How to reset & unlock the control lock button.

This video shows you how to unlock your control panel after you've accidentally locked it. It also is a reset for any issue you have.
It will run a default cycle for 20 minutes and reset your entire control panel so that you can use your dishwasher again and not have to call a repairman or have them tell you that you need a new panel which is about $400.

3/2018 mine decided not to start again. It kept beeping when I hit start. I used this method and it reset whatever was wrong. Damn dishwasher sucks. LOL.

This was the code that worked on my Kenmore Model 665.13039k114. My model number was located on the inside left of the main body interior.
Ours is a Kenmore also and has recently been adding more time to the wash cycle. Adds like an hour to the wash. Called Sears as we have warranty and they cannot cone for 4 weeks!!!! I’m going to try reset tonight and see if I can get lucky!

Thank you! For my model, I pushed the pots and pan, normal wash and express wash button three times and it reset and ran the express wash option.
