The time has changed and now north Indian film industry don't have that sensitive and powerful writers, story makers and producers. Rajkumar is sort of a highly talented actor who's so unlucky not to have the right people around him. Its a pity.

India is massively diversed country. Its like a rainbow of beautiful colors. Every shade is distinguished and unique. We can not replace it.
In South, the movies are made in various local languages. People love them and make them a box office hit. Several big names are there. Legendary Sir Rajni Kant, S. P Bala Sab, Kamal Hasan etc. Similarly skilled and highly talented directors, story writers, singers and millions of those who provide back hand support. All of them help in making a good recipe and this guarantee a successful take off.
In southern estest of India, Urdu isn't a popular language and so is Hindi. What if South Film Industry decides on making Urdu or Hindi movie ? This will, obviously, be a disaster in recipe. Right ? South Indiand will not admire or patronize.
In Bollywood, they used to make Urdu film and not Hindi film. Some 25-30 years ago, envious nature film industry people and Urdu haters took the challenge of converting Urdu film into Hindi film. Their plans failed miserably. Northern India is still highly talented and full of heart throbbing stories plus poetry. All can help bringing the lost grace, attraction and reputation back provided that Urdu Fim Industry image is restored.
Hindi is the language for Devi Devta tell-tales. Its for Bhajan and other Hindu religion related stuff. I am not against it. I love listening to Kavi Pradeep, Anop Jalota and Manna De‘s those dharmic songs. They are soothing and enjoyable.
But
Hindi Film can mot replace Urdu Film. Period.
In the past we saw K. L Sehgal, Raj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Meena Kumari, Madhubala, Lata Madam, Rafi.Sab, Kishor Da, Hemant Sir , Naushad sab, K. Asif, Saleel Choudhry, Kamal Amrovhi, Madan Mohan, Mukesh G and many more. In recently concluded era, we had SRk, Salman, Aamir, Sri Devi, Kajol, Rani Mukherji, Anil Kapoor, Sushmita Ma‘am, Madhuri G, Sanjey Leila Bansali, Ram Gopal Verma etc. All of them are great name for Urdu Films.
