Additionally for game 2 I think the best pick is actually 6/9/3 point down. He gets a super strong 6/9/5 and 8/4/3 start, but you take 5/4/11 and build in to 6/3/11. Edit: your opponent should have taken the 6/9/3 and taken the early dev, it really murders the 6/9/5 first pick
15:10 this is an important point of the the game I think. You’re behind here with 2 ways to catch up: production and fast settles or the dev deck. Trying to hold here feels really really bad. I’d hope for any non VP and look for a good moment to self block sheep as he has no port. This buys you some time to catch up.

I think I got too narrow sighted on getting a city after he mono’d my ore, but you’re right a dev would’ve been better there thank you
