Yooooo thank you for your videos man!!! I was thinking about getting a speed3 and when I did my review you came up all the time man thanks for all the info. I’m usually a Honda guy but I wanted something different and you know what, yeah they make their noises and yeah the maintenance is a bit more than the average car but it’s all worth it in the end. I love my speed3 bro! Aye keep doing your thing man your car is amazing and it’s where I’m trying to get my speed3 at! Content is awesome man keep it up. And congrats on your graduation bro happy for you! Thanks again.
It’s funny cuz I love my speed but been trying to trade it for a boosted Honda 😂 guess I’m a Honda boy need inside even if I’ve own 3 speeds and like 6 integras
Your friend gets it your daily is a speed shit will always have problems 😂 if it’s not boost leaks its vacuum leaks, k04’s smoking, vvt’s going bad, bad thermostats, running rich, running lean misfires, rods thru blocks etc..
When did the noise start happening in relation to the mods installed? If the answer has any relation to the camber plates my money is on this. A torch, a grinder with flap disc and a BFH will give you the clearance needed 🙃
& if you pull the bumper entirely off, loosen all four of the headlight bolts, and the 8x front crash bar bolts, you should be able to line up the headlight so that plastic alignment clip can fit in the hole and stop squeaking off the fender.
@@Mazda.Fit. it happened I’d say 2-3 weeks after i got an alignment with the camber plates installed! Then my camber got pushed all the way in on one side as i showed in the video
My gen 1 makes some clunking noises I can’t figure out where it’s coming from lol! 😂 I’m still on stock suspension tho hahah! So idk! I wish you the best of luck man!
nah man it's not the speed giving problems it's the quality of parts or improper installation of those parts that gives issues not to mention age.. this relates to all built cars not speeds
The noise seems to be coming from aftermarket headlight housing. As you stated it’s crap aftermartket parts . But in general moded cars won’t run perfectly all the time that’s the car mod life.
Never a dull moment with speed . Mine is making noise from the back wheels every time I go through uneven surface i changed the rear stabilizer links but the noise is still the and is annoying. Took it to a car workshop they say they cant find where the noise is coming from till this day
Ahh man I feel you i have a gen 2 myself bro And its been one thing after another ,1st was my pmm then was the hpf valve after was the ball joints on both sides now its the vvt chain . Waiting on the parts to arrive now lol And congrats on graduating bro
@@Heartseasestudios yea it makes a sort of clunking Like metal on metal contact Can also visually check just turn the wheel and make sure they haven't blown
So here is what ppl don't understand. When we upgrade any car, we are going from good Original oem parts that are meant for daily driven to aftermarket parts, Mods etc that will always tend to give issues here and then which it has nothing to do with the car at all and has to do with either the install or the part it's self. I have had over 300 cars and I have went through it with all of them. I currently drive a Mazdaspeed Protege5 and I have invested a lot into it and I always get weird sounds or issues here and then but it's not the car it's just the aftermarket parts that tend to make weird sound or fail.
Totally agree - We all watch the mods being done but as you say the parts aren't Mazda parts, so don't blame the car. Personally I have a Gen 2 here in Spain and our yearly inspection is so tough I cannot do 95% of the mods that have been done to this car as it would not pass the inspection and then it would be illegal to use it on public roads and the insurance would also be invalid - So it's near enough totally standard - But it never goes wrong!
Man I literally said all of this to myself out of anger one day these cars are fragile i didnt know either until i bought mine blew turbo vvt started slacking and my injectors started leaking in 3k miles this car really puts the saying “you gotta pay to play” ps: a while back i said i was still subbed even if you changed platforms cus i thought u might find the car too unreliable good luck man lots of other good cars out there
Maybe remove complete headlamp.maybe there is a ball that push into a grommet and its dry and need some lub.or its the headlamp lens thats making that noise inside the housing.coz it was removed to modify headlamp.i say remove headlamp and see properly whats going on
If you think tracking your car is going to do anything other than making your issues now much worse and more frequent you're fooling yourself. First mod to get the speed to the track should be buying a daily.
Mazda 3 2009 177k miles
Running strong
Just replaced spark plugs
Serpentine belt
Ac belt lol
Running strong 💪
congrats on graduating, recently got a black speed 3 and these vids have been pretty helpful
Thanks man and glad i could help

This guy gets it
How’s your upper sway bar link to frame clearance ?
I actually need to check when i get back home! Think it may be that or maybe ball joints. But I’m hoping it’s just that

Lmk your findings for curiosity sake.
I can totally relate with you at the end of the video with not going to the gym

if its going over bumps, check your strut mounts. the oem ones tend to split/crack.
@@Plibt_ thankyou!! I’ll check rn!! 😁

Check your top shock mounts for wear could be them
@@chrismetalwilson2588 thank you ill check them
Lower control arm inner bushing or front trailing arm bushing

What kind of noise did your ball joints make? Cause I keep hearing some type of clunking when I hit bumps 😂 idk if it’s ball joints or what hahaha

Time to get a Honda!
Small fix bro! At least ur engine didn't blow up like mine...4,800 for a rebuild
Ahhh shit fair enough
Thats me every other week i gotta fix something on the ms3
Speed life
Bikes and cars man’s somethings always seems to be wrong
You got that right brother lol
Put some kind of sound dampener behind the headlight. Definitely plastic and metal rubbing
It is! I should
Unless you’re tracking the car every week, ditch the camber plates and go with the stock upper mounts.
Nahhh too late now lol

Damn haha
I can definitely relate when I had my speed 3 your right it sucks
Did u take the school to just learn about trucks or all in general???
1 year of schooling
I had noises coming from my timming chain so i fix that n now my power steering is making a weird noise lik dude i knw the feel
Still gonna daily a speed3 someday tho…
