  • A non-compensated look at the DeWalt DG5617 tool belt with suspenders. My old tool belt was killing my waist and lower back, so it was time to find something else for these old bones!
    While I did not purchase this on Amazon (purchased at Lowes), below is a link to this on Amazon:

    The padded circular collar on the backside with dewalt written on it goes on the back of the back of your neck so the straps dont get uncomfortable when you load a bunch of wait on it
    if you loosen the back and tighten the front the straps will come down properly,
    these are reminescent of turnout gear suspenders so i reckon the pocket with Velcro is for a radio and pocket on the right is for a flashlight.
    Also you can tighten them just like an scba just lean over and grab where the front straps hang down and yoink the hell out of them, it will also bring the center of gravity to your hips and help out alot when you have a load on you.

    It’s funny you mentioned the pocket on the shoulder strap since that is what had me checking RUclips trying to figure out what it is designed for.

    I'm a journeyman electrician and I just bought these for electrical work. Hopefully they will last with the tools I have. I didn't wanna spend 500 on occidental leather.

      This would have been a good addition back when I was working "with the tools".

    Does this fit the toughbuilt tool clips

    • @rogersshop
      @rogersshop  Год назад

      I don't have any of those, so can't answer for sure since I don't know what maximum size belt you could put them on. I may look into them though, as I prefer to carry my tape measure dead center in back and have yet to find a "good" holder for a 30' x 1" tape.

      @@davidboyle9402 The only Velcro is on the front of the belt, under the buckle.
