There is nothing wrong with being a single independent woman. Life is less stressful without all the bs from horrible toxic men.
That's right, people who don't work are people who don't have responsibility.
We all desire a good man or woman, but don't know what that is. Reflect on yourself. What is it that you enjoy doing that is not self destructive? Look at your good habits, and the bad habits you want to rid yourself of. From there, you can clearly prevent undesirable individuals from coming into your life.

Sorry for the lady in the story to have had this terrible experience. Glad she was able to remove herself from those unfortunate circumstances. There are still good Hmong men out there. Don't let a few bad apples generalize us. Moreover, a good lesson here is to pick a good partner before marrying them. That's critical!
