Also I agree. You know Samantha Irvin has the passion and love for this cause not only does she have her own way of introducing everyone in different ways but when someone has an underdog type of feel when they win a title ala Sami Zayn, she legit gets emotional and u can hear her announcing almost crying tears of joy. I saw that when Sami Zayn won the IC title and Cody Rhodes when he won the Universal title she was feeling emotional and they showed it on Twitter in her camera view. She was legit crying for Cody. I love it.

Man I’m glad to see Cody finish the story and Damien Priest cash in and be successful but can’t help but feel uneasy with Roman and Seth both losing the title, I feel like they both have the ability to look like a superstar while making their opponent look like a superstar and they deliver classics that draw emotion. It’s one of those gift and a curse situations, I just hope Cody and Damien succeed in their first reigns and it makes everything 10x more worth it!
Seth doesn’t need a title, hasn’t for years. They put that title on him to help the title, not the other way around. And with Roman, I actually feel this opens things up for him creatively. He finally isn’t the guy, or the guy they need to be the guy. He is finally free.
I find it funny that the “Genius of the sky,” also did the most submissions of anyone all night. Maybe combined. Glad to see they kept her looking strong.
That shot with an upset Drew and CM Punk clapping and laughing in the background was just awesome... What a build for a feud... and Punk did it all while injured.
If Samantha Irvin didn't announce the cash in the way she did I wouldn't give 2 fcks about it, but thanks to her it was the most hype moment of this year easy. The woman is already an announcing legend in my book
Hey JD agreed with everything you said. The only let down for me was not seeing Stone Cold come out. I was expecting it lol. But other than that. This WM was right there with the Rock VS Austin one and both Roman, and Rhodes could be them. I think at some point it will be Regins vs Rollins don't know when but that's a fued to happen. Obviously McIntyre vs Punk I belive at Summerslam as I do belive that Triple H wants Rollins vs Punk, and Rock vs Regins at WM 41. Rhodes will go undefeated for the next two- three years and even though I do believe Tony Kahn will fight like hell to keep MJF. The guy to beat Rhodes Should be MJF.
This was perfect. I also understand about fans mad austin didn't put tge final nail to give the rock a stunner but if you look at it. It was almoat liie the bloodline was the new clique and at WM 14 shawn michaels tried his hardest not to put austin over. And taker taped his fists and it was going to be shawn michaels long night if he didn't do business. Taker had his fists taped he made sure ROMAN did business this truly is the Cody Rennaisance Era.
I agree night 1 was flat. Night 2 damn was amazing. Decent Wrestlemania show WWE should try doing more indoor shows for future Wrestlemania shows. Perfect ending to the show. You know a show is brilliant when you get your commentator crying on two occasions first for Sami Zayn winning the Intercontinental championship and Cody Rhodes winning the Universal championship. Michael Cole said "I LOVE PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING" let that sink in for a minute.
Loved Night 2 of Wm 40 Triple H delivered on the wrestling this on night I don’t think it was 10 show but it was still great. I also l loved the Main Event I thought it was epic. I’m excited for Raw, this Triple H and this Renaissance era.
@@FootballMaster172 maybe it’s because he hasn’t signed a new contract. I wanted Drew to be the champ coming out of Wm. But I don’t mind that Priest is the champ.
Seth said to Drew after the match was you fucking deserve this. Also I love that Punk blew a kiss to Drew’s wife while he was beating him up. And Punk had two matches before the Rumble against Dirty Dom. One at MSG in NY and in LA.
Night 2 of Wrestlemania by far was better then night 1 and I have confidence in Cody Rhodes that he has that capacity to carry the ball and run with it as world champion plus my money is on Gunther winning the Royal Rumble and and challenging whomever is the world champion on Monday Night Raw should Damien Priest lose that title by then overall I loved how Cody Rhodes finished his story and the warm wonderful moment afterwards and we will definitely see Roman Reigns vs The Rock for the rightful place as head of the table which I'm really psyched for and loved seeing Bayley win the SmackDown women's title as well as the cash in by priest it makes what CM Punk and Drew McIntyre that more exciting to see them go at it in the wrestling ring.
Wrestlemania 40 night 2 truly delivered from start to finish. Great booking, and hopefully wwe will continue this booking momentum for years to come. Comparing this night 2 with wrestlemania 39 night 2. 40 is better and I wish stone cold was there. Also, triple h was still able to wrestle to help cody against the bloodline.
I also and finally must say Thank You to Roman Reigns I think he was a great champ and he had a legendary run. He was our Tribal Chief but he needed to lose that title already. He’s indeed the Lebron James of this generation of wrestling.
The one thing that stuck out to me at mania was in the two nights I now know every refs name. It's a small change but I couldn't stand hearing them called officials . I knew Jess and of course Robinson but the rest no clue and it meant something in night one with the rock saying if you count I will fire your ass. And Cole saying Dan can't do nothing . I appreciate that little change and it shows trips listens and pays attention to what the people want.
The was the first 2 Night WrestleMania that had one storyline the continued throughout the weekend. In yesrs past night 1 & 2 had distinctive separate main events & distinctive feels. Night 1 felt like a let down this year because it was a chapter in Night 2's story as opposed to its own stand alone story like years past. It will go back to 2 strong nights next year.
Okay...at a House Show in Syracuse, N.Y. last Sunday Cody came out, gave me, my sister, our friend hugs and selfies. He IS the guy. He didn't have to come out and do anything that he did in Syracuse, but he did anyway. He is the face of the company because he goes out of his way to be an ambassador for the company.
No way becky vs rhea was better than iyo vs bailey, not even close. Iyo and bailey legit had a classic, rhea and becky had a good, but not mindblowing match.
WrestleMania 40 night 2, was absolutely fantastic. What an emotional rollercoaster. On a side note, I loved the visual of WrestleMania this year, and I really wonder if all of the black and green was to symbolize the whole new triple H era. Just seemed very DX
On the bayley chant. It started at takeover london. Its british football chants to a tee. Its based on the dj ortiz song, hey baby. "Hey, hey bayley, I wanna know if, Youll be my girl "
Man for a moment I thought the rock would whoop Roman's ass with that belt when they walked out. But what a crazy ending. The undertaker was unexpected and since he and Cena had a past with Rock and Roman UT made sense because Austin had only a past with Rock! P.s Seth said to Cody 😅 you know I come for you
Night 2 was Amazing and Cody finishing the story was the right call. Slightly disappointed not to see Stone Cold but overall Incredible WrestleMania 9 out of 10
This was far better night than night one. Even if we ignore the main event, the rest of the show had quality matches too. The first match was cool, the AJ and LA match this was probably the best LA looked so far in WWE, AJ is never a disappointment. The women's match and triple threat matches were great too.
And think of this, if Roman never caught Covid and Vince had his way, Brock would have beaten Roman at Day 1 and this title win wouldn’t have hit the same.
I did read Seth Rollins lips some of. And I saw that he told Drew McIntyre saying "You fuckin deserve it" . Also The Reign of Terror is over and The American Nightmare Era begins. I'm gonna enjoy the ride that Cody and Paul Levesque is going to take us on.
Kudos to Cody, Roman and Seth for doing matches two nights in a row. This is not a joke. The night one match alone was tiresome considering how long it went.
Night 2 was lame outside of the main event and drew/punk. Everyone kicked out of each other’s finish moves multiple times in every match. It was like watching the same match over and over. Cody kicked out a spike spear combo, lol like come on.
this stream was so much fun wrestlemania night two was incredible I'm so glad that cody beat roman i hope we get a good raw after wrestlemania this year especially since last year's sucked so bad i popped seeing bruce prichard when cody was celebrating paul heyman screaming when undertaker showed up made me laugh more than I should've what a wrestlemania night two I'm glad that the main event was bloodline rules the craziness and the surprises were amazing sucks that stone cold steve austin didn't show up because wasn't Undertaker's spot supposed to be for austin seth rollins vs drew McIntyre was great punk attacking drew and Damian Priest cashing in and winning the world heavyweight title that was amazing i really enjoyed night two more than I did night one in my opinion can't wait for raw tonight.
Imagine the Bloodline he laid total waste to Cody, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins and John Cena. The lights goes out after the Undertaker’s bell sound effect and we also get a crow sound and when the light comes on revealing Undertaker and Sting in the ring battling the Bloodline and help Cody win.
Rollins and Reigns really live rent free in each other's head.

It’s one of those gift and a curse situations, I just hope Cody and Damien succeed in their first reigns and it makes everything 10x more worth it!
Yeah because Roman and Seth both members of the Shields lost their title
Seth doesn’t need a title, hasn’t for years. They put that title on him to help the title, not the other way around.
And with Roman, I actually feel this opens things up for him creatively. He finally isn’t the guy, or the guy they need to be the guy. He is finally free.
@@VesiustheBoneCruncher Plus Roman/Rock never needed the title.
@@VesiustheBoneCruncherwell said
I laughed so hard into my sleeping daughters ear, when Roman put the table back under the ring just to fuck the crowd
I heard when The IIconics first came to the US they had nowhere to stay and Bayley let them stay at her house.
Bruh shout out to Roman and Cody man that was some generational shit and y’all complaining 💀
Fr, we would’ve NEVER gotten this under Vince mcmahon, knowing him he’d give us another brock and roman match😭
So glad we got this instead of Roman vs rock which would have been a shit show
The main event was galactic among the crowd. And the weather was way better so the audience had more energy.
F 'em. IDGAF who complains now. This is the era I have been waiting on for 15 years
Y’all boys Goated
If Samantha Irvin didn't announce the cash in the way she did I wouldn't give 2 fcks about it, but thanks to her it was the most hype moment of this year easy. The woman is already an announcing legend in my book
That first match, I was proud to show my girlfriend why I'm a wrestling fan. The whole show was fucking tremendous
WWE finally let Cody Rhodes win the WWE Undisputed Universal championship! WWE letting Cody win was what got me back into watching WWE again.
2:52:23 If you pay close attention you can see CM Punk laughing his ass off as well 😂😂
Hey JD agreed with everything you said.
Samantha’s announcement at the end was crushing
Don't forget Michael Cole's emotional narration after the win. Beautiful 😢
@@Marko_Polo_808 the combination of it all was next level 🥹
@@KGalindo-ze2on I've never seen this much freedom given to all involved. And I loved it.
She almost broke down and cried. Michael cole and Samantha did an amazing job.

Loved Night 2 of Wm 40 Triple H delivered on the wrestling this on night I don’t think it was 10 show but it was still great. I also l loved the Main Event I thought it was epic. I’m excited for Raw, this Triple H and this Renaissance era.
Drew got robbed, wtf has HHH with him? 🤬🤬
@@FootballMaster172 maybe it’s because he hasn’t signed a new contract. I wanted Drew to be the champ coming out of Wm. But I don’t mind that Priest is the champ.
Wrestlemania 40 being the beginning of a new direction for WWE, after Vince's actions forced it to a crossroads, is art.
Seth said to Drew after the match was you fucking deserve this. Also I love that Punk blew a kiss to Drew’s wife while he was beating him up. And Punk had two matches before the Rumble against Dirty Dom. One at MSG in NY and in LA.
I actually cant wait for Monday Night and see what lies ahead.
Was @ both nights... it was the weather. THE WINDCHILL WAS BRUTAL NIGHT 1. They are lucky people didn't leave due to the weather.
Triple h / Renaissance Era was officially started last night at mania 40 night 2. Let the games begin.
Seeing Orton in that ring next to Cody tonight says it all for next year main event, and then Rock vs Roman? Sign me up.
Picture perfect night. Cried at Bayley.
Amazing show from top to bottom. This is what WrestleMania is ABOUT 🔥
The was the first 2 Night WrestleMania that had one storyline the continued throughout the weekend. In yesrs past night 1 & 2 had distinctive separate main events & distinctive feels.
Night 1 felt like a let down this year because it was a chapter in Night 2's story as opposed to its own stand alone story like years past.
It will go back to 2 strong nights next year.
Fair, Firm, & Consistent! Mahalo JD🙏🏼
1st mania for me had a blast both nights definitely plan on attending another in the future 🙌 🙏
Gunther should win King of the Ring
WM40 is probably the only WM event with too many titles changed hands. And most of the babyfaces won their matches.
No way becky vs rhea was better than iyo vs bailey, not even close. Iyo and bailey legit had a classic, rhea and becky had a good, but not mindblowing match.
I think we see heel Chad gable vs Sami at summer slam
Chag has to kick those two goofs and be a single guy
Chad has to kick those two goofs and be a single
Awesome night 2
Congratulations Cody
Thanks AEW
Good review JD
WrestleMania 40 night 2, was absolutely fantastic. What an emotional rollercoaster.
On a side note, I loved the visual of WrestleMania this year, and I really wonder if all of the black and green was to symbolize the whole new triple H era. Just seemed very DX
On the bayley chant. It started at takeover london. Its british football chants to a tee. Its based on the dj ortiz song, hey baby.
"Hey, hey bayley,
I wanna know if,
Youll be my girl "
Man for a moment I thought the rock would whoop Roman's ass with that belt when they walked out. But what a crazy ending. The undertaker was unexpected and since he and Cena had a past with Rock and Roman UT made sense because Austin had only a past with Rock!
P.s Seth said to Cody 😅 you know I come for you
Night 2 was Amazing and Cody finishing the story was the right call. Slightly disappointed not to see Stone Cold but overall Incredible WrestleMania 9 out of 10
Cody giving the belt to his mom & hugging Micheal Cole later on made me shed a few tears nbs 🤧
This was far better night than night one. Even if we ignore the main event, the rest of the show had quality matches too. The first match was cool, the AJ and LA match this was probably the best LA looked so far in WWE, AJ is never a disappointment. The women's match and triple threat matches were great too.
Seeing how this is a NEW ERA of WWE I’m going to give this Guy another shot.
WM XL -Then now and Forever Truly came together.
Remember when Undertaker first appeared at SS ‘90 the first person he looked like he was going to feud with was Dusty Rhodes
Night 2 crowd was amazing
Cody kicks out of everything from Roman on night 2.. yet he gets pinned clean by the Rock after the peoples elbow on night 1. 😂
Had to set up NIGHT 2 BLOODLINES RULES so everyone can get involved in the match truly & SETH can stay the major babyface he is helping CODY out
@@KYWANWEBSTER I totally get that. It would look better if the Rock laid a cpl elbows on him.
@@SoberCatMan yeah it definitely would've but SETH was just an extension of Cody's madness for the BLOODLINES insanity
@@SoberCatManCPL? Corporate Elbow?
i meam why would i fight my hardest when i got a tirle match the very next night
Rollins one of the top 3 wrestlers in the world
This is The Wrestlemania we all deserved, thank you Triple H and The Rock for an unforgettable main event, happy tears, never a crybaby 😅
I thought it was Dean Ambrose when that shield music hit😅
What a night 2 roman take a bow hopefully this is not the end and you cant even hate on cody winning the championship well deserved
I didn’t see the show but I’m guessing the crowd was singing hey oh baby, just like at a college football game
Kudos to Cody, Roman and Seth for doing matches two nights in a row. This is not a joke. The night one match alone was tiresome considering how long it went.
Punk wrestled Dom at the garden in the house show before he was on tv
I agree, I was waiting for Stone Cold to come out to stun the Rock
The greatest ending to a Wrestlemania I’ve ever seen
Happy for cody cena he gon be a good champ and Roman a legend fr shout out to mama Rhodes 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I'm genuinely happy for Cody and the fact that the bloodline did the right thing for business
What a story Cody has been on, just goes to show dreams do come true !!
I wouldn't have liked that. Sting is a WCW guy at heart and would have made 0 sense
@@_Chris_D_3004 I only mentioned it because of Sting’s connection with Dusty Rhodes
