While I never had the pleasure of being able to see her perform, I was able to see Billy Joel and Elton John together for their Face to Face tour in 2009. Let me tell you, Elton John is a force of nature. Billy Joel is obviously amazing as well, but Elton is something to be reckoned with.
Her interpretation of this song is very good. The female version is excellent. I saw her in Madison, WI and she put on an excellent show. I wish she had covered Sly's songs on a CD early in her career, it would have been great.
