You're channel is my box of bad decisions. 04 5.4 3v remote mount. Wrote the tune myself. Making a hair over 475 at the crank and terrified to go further. Why oh why do I keep tuning in to you and gramps...?

You can buy a jlt cold air box for a lightning or a Harley-Davidson edition which will get rid of that open filter and all that other crap over there and you can hook your mass airflow sensor right into it

There shouldn't be that much oil on a new turbo set up with a good amount of miles yes. but I have a 01 7.3 with 240k miles and it doesn't even have that much oil. Sound like you have a leaking seal in the turbo.
Nice vid thx! Have you considered replacing the fog lights & if you did, would you go with amber bulb or glass, so they actually work during heavy fog, or would you go with the clear, but would clear work just as well? BTW, I have 117k miles on my 1997 f150 5.4 L 4x4 extended cab.

Yes. I have a fair amount and that’s why I have a vented catch can
#noairfiltergang and also the catch can was a huge restriction on srt10 causing me to blow out turbo seals I would upgrade the catch can to a evil energy one or drill it to a bigger breather filter
Or try restricting the oil feed might flow to much pressure at wot

@@rjoolson2768 already has restrictor in it proper sizing according to cx racing with his oil pressures.
@@e36rick98 well with factory pcv you don’t want a filter catch can. Due to him having forced induction he can not run a factory pcv valve so it’s gutted and ram to a catch can with a breather filter. Pcv style it’s just inline from the pcv to the intake manifold so it doesn’t suck up oil. On a boosted setup the filter is the actual breather cause it makes positive pressure and you don’t want to fill your crankcase with positive pressure
I think I need a baffled one too so I don’t spray so much oil out the filter. Lol
That old 5.4 can really take a lot of punishment
I’ve been impressed with my 4.6 as well. Granted, it doesn’t have forced induction, but it does have 330K, and I romp on that thing! I just keep the fluids clean and fresh.

@@TheUltimateSubscriber i have 220 on my expy. we’re the original owners.. only had 2 spark plugs blow out in in warranty period. i love it but damn is it slow as shit. the 4r70w isnt that great mine kind of slips when its hot. im thinking of adding an aux cooler but who knows
