@@luisadolfothewolf7042 That's not possible. If a FE mage without a sword were to be in Smash, he/she would be easily be outdone by reflector characters like Fox and K Rool.

Gotta love how Sakurai revealed Knuckles Assist Trophy early on, only to blindside people by bringing back Shadow as an Assist Trophy anyway and thrice in Smash history along with Lyn, Samurai Goroh and Waluigi (Poor Isaac didn’t even get to be in Smash 4), and you know what’s even sadder? People didn’t start wanting Eggman until Sephiroth got in.

Isaac should have been in smash since Brawl if we're being honest. His games outsold Fire Emblem games which didn't even break into the millions, but still somehow got reps.

It's honestly criminal that Sonic, to this day, is the only playable fighter to represent his franchise, we could have gotten Shadow as an Echo Fighter or even Eggman during the DLC as well

lmao sometimes I have an outro, but I cut it because its just me talking. RUclips tbh prefers you end your videos as soon as possible too, because retention goes down as soon as you hit the outro portion of a video.

8:57 Wait. How come when Metaknight in Brawl gets ranted with this move but Knuckles gets a free pass?
Brawl Metaknight has multiple double jumps and like 4 recovery options with his special moves with up special having its own glide as well, the independent glide ability was pretty overkill. Meanwhile P+ Knuckle's glide takes up his side special and isn't that broken since it can't be angled and P+ Pit and ROB have similar side specials as well.
I'm disappointed by the lack of Blaze; she has so much potential!

It's kinda dumb the fact that kid acarius, a franchise NOT HAVING ANY SINGLE GAME AFTER KID ACARIUS UPRISING has more characters in the roster than Sonic, The only franchise that could keep up with Mario, the "videogame icon".(I'm not saying that kid acarius shouldn't have that many characters but man, then sonic should have all the pm ex Remix characters on his side though)

@@asafjuarez1 Kinda true, but I honestly prefer it the way it is. The Shadow and Knuckles mods are way better than the Sonic Echo Fighters that Sakurai would've given us. There's, of course, a chance that the mods still would've existed going over the official renditions, but from what I've seen of the modding community, it would've been much less likely.

Personally I don’t understand why people want Shadow as the 2nd rep instead of Tails or Eggman. It would be like having Wario before Luigi and Bowser.

They're all pretty similar and all have the potential of being a fun addition and representing the Sonic franchise well. I wouldn't mind any of then.
I really wish Sonic had more of a priority in smash. Like having more reps included every game. I understand why not though, Sega didn't even respect these characters until recently.
At the very least I would love for Tails, Knuckles and Shadow to be included. Tails and Knuckles are part of the original trio and Shadow is an iconic counterpart to Sonic.
They all have similar builds to Sonic plus Shadow and Knuckles models were already made.
Shadow and knuckles have way more potential for fast fun gameplay styles. Shadow is so dope from a design perspective.
Dr. Eggman 100% deserves to be in, either as a boss or playable as he is the main antagonist. As for a counterpart tho, either Shadow or Tails are good choices in my book.

@@arberihoxha2211 Eggman works well as a boss, unfortunately, he’s too much of a goofball to work well as a legitimate fighter that is balanced. I am concerned that he would be too similar to Bowser Junior??
Hi, REMIX dev here! Thank you for showcasing the Sonic cast! The team did reeeally good with them honestly, they're so fun. Also, as Julian mentioned Tails will get a rework someday, we're aware that he's not good looking currently. Now I have no hands on any of the characters' movesets personally here (except most of Silver's recolors, and the Super recolors which weren't featured), so all credit goes to the rest of the team on here! With Julian, we also discussed a potential Amy and Eggman inclusion. Personally I'd also love to see Blaze featured, she's even slightly more iconic than Silver but criminally underrated by the modding community.
Tbh sakurai just always put too many fire emblem character in smash bros but we only get sonic not other character and shadow become a echo fighter that just sad man

@@Supersonic37838 earthbound Kirby and sonic anyday Al be it every mario character is different almost or kinda unique so besides piranha plant n doc bein a lil basic daisy bein echo they are better to have then fire emblem who are just all equally terrible only one I like is robin cuz they’re play style is so much different but it’s like have 3-5 of the same echo fighter with different properties fire emblem is really only played because of smash bros the popularity of those characters stems from how easy they are to pick up n grant kills not a love for the series XD

Love this vid bro! Since I've joined the PMEX server, I've made Silver my main and I can truly say he's more than tournament viable.. He potentially could be in S tier if people master his move set. W for recognizing and giving the sonic cast the attention they indeed deserve

My personal Smash roster has Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, Eggman, Silver and Amy all joining Sonic. My Shadow moveset is practically what's shown in this video, same with Knuckles. Tails pulls from various SSF2 versions and Silver is a mix of what's shown here and more direct moves from Sonic Project 06. I gave Eggman and Amy good movesets too, with inspiration from various articles online.

Did you try Sonic Duel and how is pmex knuckles compared to pm+ knuckles
Honestly, I really can't wait for a Tails rework in PMEX. Right now, his Smash Flash 2 iteration is pretty bad. You mentioned a good recovery, but his jumps barely give him any vertical height, giving him one of the most gimpable recoveries in the game. He's also not too fast and he's only really good with aerial combos, but his jumps are so bad that it can get really difficult to do them. His PMEX moveset looks like it might have more potential, it's just the animations that look a little janky. I've also been working on my own hypothetical moveset for Tails with a couple more references to his own games like Tails Adventure and Tails Skypatrol (sorry Tails and the Music Maker fans), though I think there's still work. I'm holding off finishing it just in case Frontiers gives him some new moves. But besides that, I hope to see a fangame give Tails a moveset that represents him nicely, but also makes him a viable character to play, as he is my most wanted fighter for Smash.
This is a different version of tails before the nerfs that took place in the later patches he was very broken early on in the meta of beta it was just a you had to be there kind of a thing other than that you can probably find some old matches if you look hard enough
If I’m Being Honest We Should’ve Got More Sonic Characters in Smash it’s odd that we got one sonic character in such an iconic fighting series but I would honestly think Knuckles Shadow or Silver Would Only Show Up if they planned more characters because we know Nintendo PS: Still A Little Mad How Sora Got In lol

Shadow's Legacy XP Forward Air is better than his PMEX Remix Forward Air but his PMEX Remix Forward Tilt is better than his Legacy XP Forward Tilt
Knuckles’ back air is a reference to Sonic advance 2’s trick action, and his throws are all from Sonic the fighters (same with Sonic’s throws). This series is criminally poorly represented in smash (both in amount of characters and how shit Sonic’s move set is for a character with so many games to pull inspiration from).
Silver is the (to me) the best character. His Smash attacks, Special moves, and even taunts really fit the character. He was the first character I played in:
Project M EX Remix DX.
I feel like knuckles would be an S rank in ultimate just because of the glide and wall climbing.

I was honestly more disappointed that Shadow didn’t make into ultimate than Waluigi as they legit teased us with Knuckles being an assist trophy, and didn’t even showed Shadow being an assist until the last direct before launch.

Shadow shouldve been in Ultimate... Ive been wanting to see his arrival since Brawl. Shadow easily has a unique moveset that could be inspired by Sonic Battle (using chaos abilitites). Smash Flash 2 Mod by Znx, Smash Legacy etc... so many unique movesets are amazing references.
Shadow being Sonic's Echo Fighter would make no sense since SA2 started because everyone was dumb enough to believe that Shadow and Sonic were the same. It would make more sense for Sonic's Echo Fighter to be Classic Sonic and make him like Young Link, being smaller and faster but nowhere near as strong.
What I've been missing in this video are mods for Amy and Blaze. Not blaming you for the latter though - out of the really iconic characters, Blaze is the most underrated in terms of modding.
Honestly knuckles and shadow make the most sense to get in but silver is less likely cuz sega doesn’t like silver
