Other than that, the Eminence in Shadow is the best animé that is similar to Overlord. 8/10 If compared in power level, Cid is likely max level, like Ainz.

True after a while the gag makes him look like he has a mental problem. It quickly stops being funny about half way through the first season & then just becomes a cringey gag repeated ad-nauseum for no benefit. The writer's should have dropped his disbelief of reality somewhere around the first half of season one & then played it straight. I mean he's supposed to be all powerful, cool & smart but he can't even figure out if the super strong guy is really his enemy? Or if he was just made up on a whim by the girls playing some game for some unknown reason? The girls have proven their worth, loyalty, smarts & power over & over by this point & have made one of the biggest businesses in that world but he still thinks their playing some sort of silly spy game or something? but why it makes no sence? It was kinda Funny at first but the longer it went on the sillier & more incompetent it makes Cid look. Anyway I stillike the show a lot but i'm just say'n if that gag was removed at some point early on it would have made the show a whole lot better. imho
