I notice you don't mess with the shift button to go from high to low. I usually after every trip put a drop of oil at the button and work it in the reel. Have you ever had a need to disassemble and service that area of the reel?
Paul Morgan - I do the same thing every time. I bring a small 2 ounce bottle of GetSome to do this on trips. I hit the spin areas of the handle too where corrosion seems to build. Tight lines and stay safe.

Mark, What type of grease do you use
I still have some red Inox grease. Cals grease for the drag washers. Yamaha blue marine grease is good too
