      If you can't regulate yourself....this is so important that we need to form a community and regulate from education to licensing and flight conduct

    Hi there Kyle, ya i am from Ontario Canada , and i recently received a notice that my Autel evo 2 pro enterprise has been taken off the list, from being on for the last 2 years but now it doesn't qualify, but i had contacted Autel support to see what is happening, they informed me that they are working with Transport Canada to get it straightened out, hopefully soon. I do alot of aerials for the Real estate sector, its funny that i paid almost 6000 dollars for the drone and i cant use it for advanced operations but yet i can pull out my old Phantom 4 pro which i paid alot less and it is okay for advanced operations, sure don,t make sense. But hopefully they will get this sorted out soon/

      Same here! I received an email from NavCanada today, informing me that my Autel Evo 2 Pro is no longer in the list since Feb 1st... $6K investment down to $0, what about my insurance? What about all the on-going missions I have on multiple construction sites? Come on TC... a warning 3-6 months prior to changing the list would be the strict minimum! And while I officially cannot work with my go-to drone (Autel), I can still do whatever crazy thing I want (if I consider it "safe") with a mini-drone... and while so many other photographers just dont care at all about rules and fly their Mavic 3 pro without any care in the world. .... Super frustrating!

      @@ArchimedSTUDIO Don Joyce put out a video this morning on it too, it will be fixed I am pretty sure, it it all takes time, but transport Canada should give us advanced pilots a little leeway until it gets sorted out

    Who has their drone dropping from the sky and hitting people? What I want to know can I fly my DJI mini 4 Pro in Canada as a hobbyist?

    • @DonJoyce
      @DonJoyce 4 месяца назад +1

      Yes, you can fly your Mini 4 Pro in Canada... As long as you don't do anything stupid. Tons of videos on my channel.

      Yes, you can fly the Mini 4 Pro in Canada, as Don has said. His videos offer a lot of valuable information on the subject, as well as the subject Billy's video has covered here.
      An important note - a hobbyist needs qualifications to fly the M4Pro in Canada if the extended battery is used, because of course it takes the weight of the drone over the sub 249 g allowable limit. Any drones over the weight limit are subject to many other requirements.
