After you rejetted the carb and changed the sprockets, do you notice any difference in the power/acceleration of the bike? Thinking about modifying mine a bit
There is definitely a difference, I changed the front and rear, now I think about it I think the front could stay the same and the back can definitely go up a few teeth.
@@RidingwithDylan awesome! I’m gonna rejet my carb soon and get more gas and air running through it. Appreciate the response. I subscribed and I’ll pass ur channel on to my friends!
@@powersportpioneer5759 Thank you! I really appreciate it! I have been working on a video that will be out soon how to upgrade the bike, it will include the same mods I had done to mine.
Hey Chase! I purchased a better air filter, upgraded the exhaust (you could unpack it, it will feel much better) then I changed the main jet and the pilot jet, and I upped the teeth on my front and rear sprocket. If you check out on my channel in the TTR playlist I put the videos of the upgrades I did and where to buy a few upgrades in the description. Hope this helps!
Its Chase , pretty good with the height, I am sure after riding it you’ll agree it could be a great bike for almost anyone! I have seen females get a little more intimidated on the bike but it’s one of the best bikes you can get.
I did all the mods that Dylan did except I changed the rear sprocket only( up 3 teeth ). Bike was o.k. for what it is but the suspension sucks for any style of harsh riding or jumping. I'm moving up to a 4 stroke 450cc this upcoming season and ready to get crack'n.
Yamaha rocks! Getting 2 - '21 TTR230s soon is plan for my son & I. Have '21 Rapter 700R-SE now ...my baby:) - NW Ohio

I’m 5’10 and 160, this bike fits me perfectly. 10/10 would recommend as a first bike.
Yes, I'm 5'7 I have one
There is no such thing as shredding it on a ttr230. It is a farm bike aimed at ladies to buy.
Brilliantly idiotic response - well done, son, well done.

@@petedetraglia4776 which 450
But it last longer than any 2 stroke and 4 stroke 250 and 450. I'll take the reliability. and if it come down to it all I need is my cr80.
