Netflix did a lot of mistranslation in a lot of shows, not only Korean drama but also anime, I'm not even surprised at this point, that's why I choose different site (hate to say, but illegal ones) to watch subbed series

Moon kept saying in the beginning that heaven is not on her side and no one helped her. She is all alone. But I feel the writer purposely added people along the way who were unconnected to her and helped her: the curly hair girl who knew the gangsters, her landlord, this teacher who gave her the photos, the nurse, and of course her boyfriend the surgeon, to show that there was some kind of divine aid on her side.
Ha Do-yeong losing his composure in this episode was such a needed highlight! Fighting with Jae-jun and then yelling at Yeon-jin during their confrontation was a great change of character as he’s been maintaining a level-headed mindset even when he pieced together that Ye-sol wasn’t he’s biological child early on, he didn’t go crazy like Jae-jun did.
In my opinion, this one of the best structured miniseries I have seen in a long time. There have been many good television series produced over the years. It's rare to find a steady intrigue with masterfully crafted scenes and acting performances like The Glory.
TRUE! I mean you can compete this with some of the Hollywood's best drama or series man! It's been a long time the last time i was this intrigue and amazed by how good the drama was written! Truly brilliant. And it's gonna take a while to create something like this again. Amazing!

No but can we all agree how good the actress playing dongeuns mom is. Like she's insanely good. It doesn't even feel like she's acting.
In my opinion most of the actors and actresses were good.Actally dong eun and yeojong's acting were horrible compare to others
@@jina3599 even though Lee dohyun is one of my favourite actors(yeojeong) I agree that he was kinda outshined by the others. His best performance was in 18 Again. As for song hye kyo(dong eun) she was good except for the creepy smiling parts I think.

In Episode 11, Dong-eun's mother contacted the mothers of Dong-eun's classmates and forced her to bribe them. (Contact information must have been given by Yeonjin)
Teachers are very powerful in Korea.
So in the past, there were quite a few cases where mothers of students bribed teachers. (meaning take good care of my child)
However, currently this is downright illegal in South Korea.
Angry mothers of students visit Dong-eun's classroom.
Dong-eun is suffering because of her mother. Her ploy of her yearning worked for her.

you guys need to watch "bad and crazy". the actress that portrays sara appears in it and she's just as amazing as she is in "the glory"
Bad and crazy is amazing that's where I first knew her from too Mr Ha as well they are both amazing there
She also appears in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" as the North Korean prison that Woo is defending . She did a great job there too 🙂
She is also in 'Bad Prosecutor' as an antagonist.

Kim Eun-sook, who wrote this drama, is a very famous writer in Korea. Among Kim Eun-sook's works, I recommend ''Goblin'' and ''Mr. Sunshine'', which were huge hits in Korea!!

ㅁMr. Sunshine is more like Korean history so more like Koreans feel more relatable. I wouldn’t think non Koreans could enjoy the show as much as Koreans could do.

Kang hyeong nam the photographer lady has never switch sides. She is always on Dong eun side. She just fed Yeonjin useless information about the doctor to cause Yeonjin to panic. At that time she told her, doctor already got what he wanted from Yeonjin which is her skin sample. He didn't need to pretend anymore. Well played!
Someone already explained why Dong Eun resigned from teaching (because Yeon Jin schemed to destroy her reputation), but I wanted to word it differently:
Past education scandals in Korea involved corrupt teachers soliciting bribes from the parents of students. But they weren't voluntary bribes gifted by hypercompetitive soccer moms. Instead, it's a quiet extortion from the teacher, basically saying "no gifts = your child gets treated like shit by me = they won't get into prestigious college." In Dong Eun's case, Yeon Jin paid off Dong Eun's mom to pretend she was collecting bribes on behalf of Dong Eun. Of course Dong Eun had no idea this was going on, but it didn't matter. All the moms thought Dong Eun was the mastermind and using her own mom to get expensive gifts from the students' moms. Even though Dong Eun was innocent she still had to resign in disgrace because her alcoholic mom was still guilty and no one would believe her if she said the alcoholic mom was doing all this behind her back.

My theory w/the housekeeper/photographer is she didn't switch sides. She is playing a smart game releasing information to her letting her know your enemy is at every corner which is causing her to panicked. And when you panicked you become paranoid,scared, and stressed which can lead to making mistakes which helps speed up a person downfall. An unstable building is bound to fall.
What Dong Eun's mother was doing is contacting the parents of Moon's student and asked for payment/retribution to ensure the life of their children on school. Its like "If you want your children's education to be guaranteed, pay me money and my daughter will treat your childs well" hence the expensive gifts and bags she has. Moon confirms this by checking the trashcan and found a wrapper with note 'From xxx's mom'. Her mom also contacts Dr. Yoo Jeong (Sweet Home) begging and calling him to meet him at the pretense of 'meeting your mother in law' since Kyung Nam (the housekeeper) inform Yeon Jin that the doctor is seeing Moon Dong Eun.

Do yeong is one of my favorite characters; between beating up Jae jun and telling Yeon-jin that Ye-sol will always be his. The doctor is another favorite of mine; driving in front of Jae Jun's car as a way of protection so she could drive away safely. The ending was classic too. Flower of Evil and Itaewon Class are great series that y'all should react to.
Gonna recommend some more kdramas like this cz I know you guys will love it - Mouse, Flower of Evil, Signal, Stranger/ Forest of Secrets (2 seasons), Strangers from Hell, Tunnel, Beyond Evil, Voice (4 seasons, first season must watch).
Also, maybe you guys missed it... Park Yeon Jin gave all the parents' info to Dong Eun's mother, bcz she knew that the crazy woman will try her best to mooch off them. Her plan worked & now the parents have decided to kick out Dong Eun for this bribe issue. So yeah, she used another curling iron on our girl.

If I’m not mistaken, the part when Sweet Home took something out of Main Bully’s skin is a skin sample to try and test for DNA.. we saw how Man Bun scratched Main Bully’s foot (hence the wound) when he fell to the floor after getting beaten up.
