I built the balloon man for my channel too. Then recording gold fishing I realized the deck doesn’t work. Village bellringer works. You can use coercive recruiter. But the best ones, like you mentioned, Combat Celebrant. It doesn’t actually work. You can only activate the clown at sorcery speed 🙄 😣sorry
In my opinion rog is just worse than dargo in every way for mardu. I say that as a dargo stand but i do think it's objective. Rog and dargo are both mana cheaters when you boil them down. The reasons i prefer dargo is that he 1: synnergises better with tymna. 2: Mardu has a hard is time finding ways to win and dargo enables a bunch of combos to close out games and 3: Rog is great for decks that have free to cast commander spells and lack creatures. The free if you controll a comander spells are mid in mardu and mardu will just by being mardu run more creatures than something like grixis so we don't need the support from rog as much all other partners have motivations to be ran over eachother but exactly rog i dont really se a reason to run. Sorry 😅
