(I’m the only one who currently created a quite in depth guide on PETS even if you try searching) #2 Tier Dunell = Global CD 20% + Fixed and Variable CT 50% for 10 sec! Quite nice right? But ask yourself, by the time you Tier 3 your dunell? (Probably 2 months from now) Do you think you don’t have enough reductions of cooldowns and CT? Right now majority of the wizards casting Grav Field for 1s! #3 If you’re forcing this ENDGAME Arguement! What do you need in the future? Scale up damage or cool down reduction? (By that time for sure, you’re casting skills freely to the point you don’t need CD stuff even if you’re F2P) The answer would be scale up, right? So choose between this all Tier 3 pets on who can scale up your damage! *Ghost Samurai = 27 slashes + 50% FDMG (no cooldown) *Antasha = It will become an AOE pet just like Dunell + 500% Shadow AOE dmg every 3.5 sec and scales up stacking your PDMG/MDMG (This is insane, i think they need to nerf this because its AOE damage morph will just make dunell useless) *Dunell = 20% CD + 50% Fixed and Variable CT for 10 sec Its up to you! :) If you’re gonna insert arguement over UTILITY of pets! Earth Lord/Squidgette exist AND you’re forgetting about the TIER A and B pets that top players are using that they’re not telling you or creating a guide about it! (I’ve researched and tried everything i could do with Dunell before creating this guide, unfortunately, that’s the conclusion!) For reference: DPS Ghost Samurai: 120k ~ 180k DPS Dunell: 35k ~ 65k (Already in the thumbnail)
Stop spreading misinformation. Grav ticks dont work on ghost samurai. And i think youre forgetting that global cd is the only stat in this game that scales exponentially but caps at 0.7 (animation time) (that’s why league of legends uses ability haste now). Dmg of dps pets are useless when they die instantly to baphomet and higher mvps.
Thanks, tried Ghost Samurai on my grav field, it works per 9 ticks of damage, not as fast as damage as ghost samurai of snipers and atk speed sinx but i can finally use it rather than dunell for mvp hunts! 👍👍👍
I would disagree. DPS pets generally fall off late game cause the user deal way more dmg. If you are relying on your pets to deal dmg, there is probably something wrong with your progression. At tier 3 Dunell gives 20% CD reduction, for sbk sinx looking to reduce the CD of sbk, this gives a huge boost in dps compared to the other DPS pets. If I deal 1m dmg per sbk, which I already do, that is about 200k dps increase. You can't reasonably expect any pets to deal that amount of dps. I would think utilities pets will be better, such as EL or Dunell. Of course, there are some other A or B pets that might provide even better utilities. Eg. Owl and Squid.
Dunnell is for late game because his upper tier utility is great. Such as CD reduction, +8% mdmg bonus, +8% pdmg bonus. Also in PVP dunnel can stagger enemy and hit any hiding character near you. Dunnell also great to use for Monster Research easily the best
Facts is this why I choose dunel over antasha, and I don't like antasha because most monster in higher lvl is demon or undead so antasha is not that good
Hi just wondering, as for late game, it seems monster in GH has high mdef and i've seen videos that dunell cant do much damage. as for ghost samurai and antasha their damage crits and for EL still good for luring mobs then use your AOE skill. So i think this why dunell is still a good s pet for early game where it can 1 hit skill mobs .

if you like you can try crit/matk build on dunnel. elemental breath does crit. its still below antasha and samurai but elemental breath crits look satisfying lol.

The damage comparison was biased on an AA type class. Imagine using Ghost Samurai on Magnus or AoE type class, the output damage wouldnt make any so much difference on each pet like on this video.
The ranking of S-tier Pet in this video was based only for DPS play style and needs. For Supports, Earth Lord and Dunell is top priority. Having Ghost Samurai on an FS with semi-ME for leveling skill is kinda useless

Ghost Samurai and Antasha, again i said in the video, i don't really suggest dunell! Its only for monster research and in terms of PVP Tier 3, it will be shaded in the future by 27 slashes of GS and AOE Morph of Antasha!
Tier 3 Dunnel is one of the best tier3 basic S pet since it buffs the owner with global cd reduction. Samurai and Antasha would be worth less than the tier10 Squid/owl or other utility pets in dps anyway. Better level dunnel and earth lord for lategame utility and use A pets. Samurai still has value because of ignore def but antasha not so sure.
You have to understand that every pet has their own specialties and uses. You only considered the dps aspect of the pet when infacy, dps is not dunell's specialty. If you want dps then go for Antasha or Samurai. But if your class is single target and needs a pet that can aoe kill mobs for MR or card hunts then get dunell.
I agree with this! But comparing it with others doesn’t really match that its a TIER S PET! Put in mind that on Tier 3 Antasha deals AOE damage which makes dunell kit useless overtime in terms of wide screen damage!
Dunnels kit shines most on PVP, particularly during large-scale guild battles, Dunnel functions more as a utility pet than a damage-dealing one. Check Dunnel's skill, reduce the attack and movement speed of opponents by 20% for a duration of 3 seconds this is a huge debuff on the opponents especially when you are attacking/defending a chokepoint.
also, if you are relying on your pet for DPS, there is something wrong with your build. i have tier 3 antasha with 4 full star stat, but she is not even deployed. sohee, squidgette, child of earth and vulcanic bulldog ftw.
Yeah, but the 20% debuff is easily overshadowed by Ghost Samurai and Antasha's damage, honestly if you would ask majority of the players who would they use if all S-Pets are available for them, GS would likely be the choice for both PVE/PVP because of DPS! Currently dunell struggles on high monsters because of too low damage!
one of Dunell's problem in Global is that all of the Def of the mons are way too high and he doesnt have any ignore def /mdef passive . Thats why he is top tier in Korea/US where the mobs are pretty paper.. (Samurai meanwhile is kinda low tier because his scorching blade is pretty useless there) Dunell will powecreeped in the high level especially in GH onwards. (I kinda blame the content creators who played KR/US ROO and suggesting builds without considering the possible changes like what happened in the trapper hunter.) Samurai meanwhile is useful at lvl 0 but if u get him at tier 3 thats where things get fun especially if you are dps. (Antasha has same problem with Dunell, no ignore pdef passive, and a tier 0 antasha can be matched by a level 10 divination cat).and his Scorching Blade is great help to the jobs without Ignore PDEF.
Extremely informative insight! There's really not much guides really put out for these S-Pets! Tier 0 pets are totally fine right now except dunell which lures a lot monsters in high level mobs and struggles! Yeah, scorching blade is better than 20% debuff of dunell!

Ghost Samurai works well with Wizard! You are forgetting that you dont need those CD Reduction on late game because you will be strong enough that scaling dmg is the only thing that matters! Check pinned comment for explanation!

@@hermezx ok i tested with osiris dummy. 1 minute each. Antasha tier 3. 120k dps Character (1 cast time 1.4 cd) 900k dps Dunell tier 3. With 25%cd full tank build. 5k dps Character (1 sec cast time, 0.5 every 6 seconds. 0.8 cd no downtime) 2.1m You can do the math.

Dunnel is a support type s pet really he not like the others who is more focus on burst damage. dunnel is good at pvp if you using FS class cause of its aoe 20% attk speed reduction to all surrounding enemies and he also good for MR farming again cause of its wide range aoe.
I understand that, but the only time you'll get the full intended usage of Dunell is Tier 3 which is far likely to obtain for majority of the players! PVP also happens 30mins to 1hour per day which i don't think worth prioritizing unless you can play the game almost all day! Thanks for info tho, would be helpful for others!
dunnel is the best for spenders and whale, lots of whale and spenders use dunnel because of its tier 3 up skill effect,for f2p antasha and samurai is good, for grinding and dungeons earth lord,
I think we're at the point of the game where damage type pets don't even do much in mvp content (unless you're a whale ofc). Most parties now run support pets rather than dps pets as it gives more damage overall for the party. Although dunell does not give much dps, I think dunell is still not a bad choice for classes that rely on global cd and fct even though it might take a while before you reach tier 3. At least you're working on something that would not get obsolete in the near future.

Dunell is for grav mages. You build it cd and pure tank just for the -20 global cd. And free suffra every 6 seconds.
