- Tens of thousands of people have been marching in London in support of Palestinians and against the war on Gaza.
A counter-march has been cancelled, citing security concerns.
But a smaller event by a group called 'Enough is Enough', which supports Israeli actions, is still going ahead in central London.
Ben Jamal is the campaign director of Palestinian Solidarity movement that organized the rally.
He says that accusations of anti-semitism on protesters are baseless.
Al Jazeera’s Harry Fawcett reports from London.

Palestine was created by the Romans. They named the place and demarcated it. Palestine is definitely a Greek word but the Romans de-Jewified all of the names. Palestine was a province of the Roman empire. It ended it's existence as a province of the Turkish Ottoman empire in 1922.
Ironically there isn't even a "P" sound in Arabic. The Arabs literally can't say Palestine, calling it Filistine. Cheers.
