Update on Kathy Page: Unresolved. Kathy's family sued Steve in civil court, claiming that he was responsible for her death. Her mother, Dorothy, testified that she had seen Steve vigorously washing clothes on the morning after her murder. The following day, her family witnessed him cleaning the carpet in their home. He claimed that he had spilled grease on it. Sherry also testified that he had abused Kathy. Neighbors also stated that they heard loud arguments and banging on the walls coming from their home. Steve admitted that he did not want Kathy to be autopsied. Witnesses testified that he was left-handed; the autopsy determined that Kathy had most likely been strangled by a left-handed person. In 1999, after two previous mistrials, Steve was found financially liable for Kathy's death in the civil court. He was ordered to pay $200,000 to her family. He was also later convicted of repeatedly desecrating her grave. He is still living in Texas; he has yet to be charged criminally for her death. Tragically, their daughter, Monica, died in 2011 at the age of 28. Their daughter Erin remains alive today. In 2018, this case was profiled on Cold Justice. They interviewed dozens of witnesses in it. They also found a new witness who reported seeing Steve walking away from the ditch where Kathy's car was found on the night of her death. The witness did not come forward sooner because he was with his mistress at the time. Steve was also interviewed; he continued to deny any involvement in this case. Despite the new evidence, the D.A. did not feel that there was enough evidence to prosecute him. However, investigators are continuing to look into new leads and hope to present this case again. unsolvedmysteries.fandom.com/wiki/Kathy_Page

Grieving Husband my @$$! That insufferable jerk absolutely did it! The fact that he had the audacity to blame an Italian man, by stereotyping him as "Mafia" told me that! This is insulting to all of us Italians who are hardworking people and come from honest, hardworking families, who have integrity, strong family values and a strong sense of honor. While on the other hand, Steve Page is vile, vulgar, with no honor, values or decency. I honestly cannot call him a man, because he doesn't have the characteristics of a man, he's merely a male, and a disgusting excuse for a homo sapien. I come from a large Italian family, raised in an Italian neighborhood in Chicago. Not one person I grew up knowing was Mafia, all were hardworking blue collar. Loving, kind and, above all, honorable.
What makes you think that?. Curious to what gives you that opinion.? I thought he was the one but then watching his actions etc I think maybe he didn’t
The only thing I didn't like about the segment was that it basically ignored, if not absolved, Kathy Page of cheating. If Steve in fact is innocent, then Kathy's death had something to do with that aspect. Who would take the time and/or hate both of them enough to murder one and frame the other?
I feel bad that the soldier and his daughter never found the mom. His voice is so gentle, and he seems so loving. I felt bad for the daughter finding so much comfort in a stuffed animal. The whole story is very sad.

Steve Page addressing himself in 3rd party, Steve Page blaming her for the separation, Steve Page blinking too much, Steve Page showing all the signs of a narcissist, Steve Page showing no emotion, Steve Page guilty. Beginning of this post was before I had watched the whole segment. The Beaumont Mafia? He was charged later with desecrating her grave several times. What an asshole.

In Wilma’s case, she and her husband ended up suing the developer of a local retirement community for not putting up proper signage at the exit of the community. The lack of signage is what led to the other car going the wrong way.
Brooke Baker seemed like someone on a mission. Her mother mentioned that she didn't mind calling people out or stepping on peoples toes. In the end it wasn't the reason she was murdered, but some people don't take kindly to that attitude and aren't afraid to act on it. I get the feeling that even without what happened, there was a chance she would at some point meet with violence.
Wilma's story has me balling.. Seeing the truck driver carefully lift her neck like that, after hearing she couldn't breathe just had me break down. Heaven sent 🙏🏽💕

I wonder if Stella ever saw her mother again. It's a very sad story. It sounds like "Sunny" was put in a somewhat precarious situation. Stella was brought to the US probably against Sunny's wishes. She comes to America with her husband to try to work things out and be with her daughter. Did Sunny even speak any English? She must have felt very isolated. Maybe she felt she had no choice but to go back to Korea. Probably figured she could never get her child back there with her.
I contacted Stella several months ago, such lovely Lady! She told me, they never learn what happened to Ok Cha. But, Stella keep her mother close to her heart, no hard feelings. Her dad died several years a go. Korean people are strict, probably she was put in a position where she was forced to denied her marriage. Sorry for my english, Im just learning IT!

They didn't say he was a frat boy, he was a friend of her roommate and killed another girl. They said that he was a serial killer in the making and would have killed more if caught. By the way, the landlord was creepy AF.
I live in Vincennes as well. The fraternity was barred by the University when this episode aired. I worked the overnight shift at Lewis Bakery when this murder happened. My relief in the morning was Brian Jones. I remember one day he did not show up to relieve me and I ended up working about 16 hours straight. Later that day I learned about the murder. It happing while I was at work. The next day Brian Jones relieved me as usual. I was getting ready to leave when I asked a coworker if he had heard about the murder. I then said I hope that nail that son of a b@@@@. Brian Jones was in ear shot gave me a death stare.
For those of you questioning/doubting the walk ins (my own theory) - is it possible they’re suffering late onset Dissociative Identity Disorder (aka Multiple Personality Disorder)?
I think it is highly probable that a kind of mental health issue, likely trauma-based, is at play in at least some of these cases, however it is generally accepted in the psychiatric field that DID does not occur 'late onset'. It's a disorder that occurs when normal childhood development is disturbed by ongoing traumatic events, usually between ages 1-5. It is not uncommon, however, that many adults are not diagnosed until much later in life. But the people highlighted in the walk-in segment are not at all typical of people with DID, which is very disabling, certainly in the periods before longterm treatments can have any affect.
Shame on those other passing motorists on the road who failed to stop when Mr. Vittitow tried to flag down help from them for Wilma. People with that level of traumatic injuries often have just minutes to live and brain death can occur within minutes of suffocation, so they need every form of help from whoever there is. Sometimes the greatest heroes are those who emerge out of nowhere and bring people back from the brink of death.
I'm half Korean, have a Korean mom and white dad (Italian decent). They say Sunny liked to party and hang with the wrong people. I think she was more into that and decided she didn't want to be tied down to a family. I imagine the hardest part about finding her is that she is Asian, and you can't just say I'm going to go there, and probably hard for a detective too. It was crazy she sent dresses all those years later, and I'm sure part of her misses her daughter, but overall I think she doesn't want to be found. Sad story.
Lobsang Rampa was an exchange. One day an English chap, the next a Tibetan Lama. Whether not its true, unknown. Just saying he's a well published claimant of this.
They had to change the original theme music when they switched networks. From what I read on the internet, the network that was showing seasons 1 through 6 that network owned the rights to that theme.
Supposedly, UM ran on NBC from 1987 through the 9th season. The 8th and 9th season themes were remarkably bad...Peruvian flute music. Season 10 (on CBS) actually made the theme music better; it brought back many elements from the original theme.
I don’t believe Sunny left, or even went to Korea. The dad knows more. This reminds me of my uncle. He married my aunt who is Filipino and then abused her for years. 3 kids later, she wanted to leave and he told her she couldn’t take the kids. She fled to the other side of the US and talked bad about her to all of us and his kids. I never believed him and years later my aunt reunited with her adult children and learned the TRUE STORY. She also said that he threatened her life so….

People should learn from him. Good deeds become superficial once recognition and praise is expected in any way. Given praise and recognition without being expected? Fine. Posted about FOR recognition like people on social media love to do now ('look at this picture of me giving this homeless man a blanket and like and comment and praise me because I'm so good and did it for the right reason, not just for likes and comments and praise to feel better about myself! /s').

Not much I’m sure.
I'm so glad to hear it. I thought I could tell he hated it but I didn't know why😅😅😅
People say that all the time, but on one episode where they let Stack choose every story, every segment was paranormal in nature.
Yeah I feel the UFO and walk ins ate a little too much.

In Wilma’s case, she and her husband ended up suing the developer of a local retirement community for not putting up proper signage at the exit of the community. The lack of signage is what led to the other car going the wrong way.
The landlord in Brook's story is creepy. Could you imagine waking up and seeing someone standing in front of you?
Brooke Baker seemed like someone on a mission. Her mother mentioned that she didn't mind calling people out or stepping on peoples toes. In the end it wasn't the reason she was murdered, but some people don't take kindly to that attitude and aren't afraid to act on it. I get the feeling that even without what happened, there was a chance she would at some point meet with violence.

Update on Kathy Page:
Unresolved.

Aww man, I'm sorry to hear that. I was really hoping for Stella to find her mom 😢

I live where this murder happened. they found the killer it was frat boy Brian Jones
@@madisonjohnson943 So it was somebody from the fraternity they didn't mention that they made it seem like he was some random guy who would have been a serial killer if they didn't stop him. It seems to me that he killed that other girl to make it look like a serial killer but didn't count on get caught by dna
Her landlord was obviously a creep.Even if he didn’t kill her, that type of behavior is well known as the tripod of serial killers.
She sent the right size dresses how did she know or was it really from her?
More like demonic possession if you ask me. Black magic type stuff, summoning dark entities through satanic rituals.
@@luke125 Exactly!!!

Steve obviously killed Kathy. His claim to have been threatened by the "Beaumont Mafia" is just stupid.
Sad story.
i wonder where she is to this day.
Another selfish, boomer scenario. That's how I put it and categorize these days.
why do they fiddle with a perfectly good theme music?
This rendition is totally fiddled and it shouldn’t be.😂
Steve Page trying to blame the mafia😂😂😂 He is so guilty its almost laughable. He was charged with repeatedly desecrating Kathy's grave.
Those walk in people became schizophrenic that's all that was.
Joshua Hull I think so how you know get back
@Crim Sin who knows? Some people are just nuts.
Same as Christians lol
So becoming schizophrenic made them become winners in life and more successful? Sounds good to me.
@Disco Angel there seem to be some similarities
I don’t believe Sunny left, or even went to Korea. The dad knows more. This reminds me of my uncle. He married my aunt who is Filipino and then abused her for years. 3 kids later, she wanted to leave and he told her she couldn’t take the kids. She fled to the other side of the US and talked bad about her to all of us and his kids. I never believed him and years later my aunt reunited with her adult children and learned the TRUE STORY. She also said that he threatened her life so….

Aww.. that guy that saved the car-accident lady with the broken neck is so humble that he not only left quietly after the paramedics arrived, but also didn't allow ANY personal info in the update about them finding and thanking him. That's the best and most honest, heartfelt, REAL kind of 'good deed' right there. He wanted no recognition. Granted, yes, this could have been for some negative reason (warrants or something?), but the chance is smaller than it just being him being a good, selfless guy who does good deeds without wanting or needing recognition. /s'). No. Not an actual good deed.
