Yes I did it for an Easter Project--I had spring floral napkins with beautiful spring colors and covered a family of plaster bunny forms:::tied some ribbon around their necks and gems for their eyes and got many complements - because it was different-I loved this project that you just did and enjoy all of your videos-especially your wreaths- your very pleasant to listen to- so until your next video I will be waiting patiently-- loved the video on your tags also- Anita. PS your so lucky to have such great Dollar trees- I live in Deer Park; New York and the ones you me are small and don’t have half the their nags your store has!! Ugh
This reminds me of the days in the 1970's when Mod Podge came on the market and we collaged everything. It is heartwarming that this craft is still being practiced today. Nice job and thanks for sharing!
I don't know how I fell upon your videos but I am so glad I did. I've watched several in a row (i see a few more I want to watch immediately after this one) and I have to say, you are very creative, very clear videos, and you are not only fun to watch but also very relaxing to watch, and listen to. Thank you for sharing and making these videos.
Super idea...I've a son getting married soon and I'm looking for a cool home crafted gift...I could do this with a wedding theme...many thanks from Ireland!!
My first comment, but I have watched a lot of your videos, and I love your "realness" and try as you go attitude. This is really pretty and useful. I even like your longer videos, as I play them on my laptop while I'm crafting, and find your voice soothing and enjoyable. Keep doing what you're doing!
I've been looking for this type of project on a cutting board and just happened to find yours. This is beautiful! You inspired me and gave me ideas I never thought about. Thank you 😊
Beautiful I love your videos I just found this one Thrift stores are fun. I will be looking for a cutting board on my next Goodwill visit. Thank you for the great video and ideas
Tracey love the results and such character to a simply cutting board. Love the sheen the MP gives. I can see getting more and doing a stencil or something on it. I need a cutting board, Thrift store here I come. Thxs for sharing. If my mom was living I would give it to her.
I love how you just go for it and enjoy the ride I've been doing the eye wise four about 3 months now actually I'm kind of good at a couple of things but like you said ripping things can be so therapeutic painting I love in the best part of it all is when you're finished whether it turned out like you bought it from Pier One or Home Goods or Walmart or it looked like your two-year-old made it it makes you smile because you know you made it this is my therapy
Love it!..after watching this I took a wood ornament and made my own mod podge with a red napkin with snowflakes. Added a silver bell ornament from DT and hot glued it to the top with some leaves and berries at bottom with a ribbon hook..so pretty! So thank you for teaching me this!..
OMG Tracey Your Upcycled Cutting Board turned out Gorgeous!!! WOW!!! It was so much fun watching you upcycle your Cutting Board and OMG and to see it all come together and when it did I'll tell you it is breathtaking....and again WOW can't stop saying it!! Tracey you truly never cease to amaze with all you come up with....thanks so much for sharing it all!! YOU SO ROCK!! Joan Smith
I really loved your cutting board project. Here in UK crafting is really taking off but In USA you have way more crafting stores. Will have to pay your country a visit and buy as much crafting items as I can carry.x
This is really beautiful! You could even do photos using the torn edge idea and do a family memory theme. Then use a decorative touch here and there to finish it. Thanks for the inspiration!
I Love how you emphasize on enjoying what we are doing, I recently started crafting and watched alot of your video's about Mod Podge even when I was afraid I would mess up, you encouraged me to keep on and I did, now I am hooked, thank you
Love it. I would give it to my daughter. She loves LSU. That would make a great pallet for her LS U room. Yes she is that into LSU, that she has all her "stuff" in a room. It would lend itself to almost any idea. Thanks.
love this poject TFS,it reminds me of a craft kit I was given when I was about 12, it had an unfinnshed wood plaque and a picture that i tore the edges and glued to the plaque a cording to the directions,
Hi, Tracy I honestly love this! I also take sun hats and decorate them and hang them on my wall depending on the type of flowers you use for the time of the year. the cutting board you made are big sellers in flea markets and make great gifts.
Great how to. Ive been hesitant to try new things other than my books and cards, but, you make it look so fun and easy i have been trying my hand a few of your crafts. Love them!! You are so very talented. Thank you for sharing all you do!
Love it..... what a great "one of a kind" gift! Napkins are amazing to work with-ssssh our secret. My friends & family adore my "gifts"!! Thank you for such awesome ideas!
Tracey such a cute idea. I got a whole pile of these cutting boards stacked in my craft cupboard. I have tons of napkins that have slightly yellowed over time. So that will give a antique look. This I think would be cute for my Sunday school class for the preteens and young teens. What I love about this I have all the supplies except the ribbon. You always give economically great ideas. I was just thinking on the final Mod Podge coat lightly sprinkle a iridescent glitter to it. Just a thought just to see what it would look like. Your Dollar tree must be much better there then here. Ours carry not so much good supplies and I check on a regular basis and also find out when the trucks come in with the new merchandise. Oh well such is life! lol
